I can't believe how good your timing is! We're going to be staying in Newberry Michigan over the 4th of July and have now added the troll to our travels plans. Pops comes through again! Thanks!
For a minute, I thought you were at the exhibition of the same artist at the Botanical Gardens in Palos Verdes. They showcase many of his creations. There was like ten trolls. It was really fun to see all those giants 🙌🏽
@@popshiking it was a really cool exhibit. But the trolls are gone now 😬 The garden changes the exhibits every three months (I believe) But they always have something awesome, and I really recommend you visit them 🙌🏽
Oh, I'm so glad you posted this video. I saw a video about Thomas, his sharing the story behind his work, what construction entails and the trolls in the US, to date at that time. lt was several years ago, while he was creating one particular troll. I made a makeshift map as they listed locations and when I sold my house, it got lost in the shuffle and I forgot all about it! Aren't they amazing?
We should go find more trolls!
The 2 that I know of in Colorado are at Breckenridge & Cripple Creek, but there probably are more.
We definitely should. They are really impressive.
Next time you’re in Maine check out the Costal Botanical Gardens. They have 5 trolls by the same artist and are just amazing.

That’s awesome! Glad to be helpful!
What an interesting sculpture.. that’s one long beard!
I guess the artist has made them around the world. Was fun to see.

Yes they really are! The crazy thing was that Benny was created in 8 days we were told! My son Josh has seen several other of his trolls.
You guys find the coolest things to stop and see! Looks like you're having a wonderful trip!
It has really been an epic trip!
I would like to meet Benny one day!
Hahaha! He would like to meet you he told me!
Very cool 😎
Yeah it is a fun spot!
i have seen the ones in WA pretty cools stuff reminds me of the concrete troll under the bridge as well.
It really is like the one under the bridge. I think there is one by the same artist on Bainbridge island.
That’s a kick!
It was really fun to see!
How far of a walk is it from the entrance of the park to the sculpture?
It’s very close. Maybe 75 yards from parking area.
Hey! When were you here in Michigan and how come we didn't know!?
Hahaha I didn’t mention anything about visiting. Headed down state now.
@@popshiking If you get down around South Haven I'd be happy to show you around.
