I will never understand religion or the devotion that some people have to it. I do not believe in a god, I believe in humanity. It is much more moving when you find the motivation within yourself instead of blaming God for giving you motivation. No god has given you power. No god has helped you. No god will put a smile on your face. You will do that yourself. The power you have is within you. We need to start throwing away this ideal of a mighty and powerful imaginary god being the root within us. We need to start realizing that we are our own gods. We are the only thing we can control, and the decisions are not and cannot be made my anyone else, or anything else, or any god that claims they have power over you. On a side note, every time I hear from preachers like this it sounds more like propaganda every time. Religion is the leading brainwasher in the world, don't forget that my friends. Stay close to the truth that is, not the truth they claim to be.
Sneeki Soviet this isn’t a sermon at all. Any successful person would not deny the lessons he shared, sure some people say the source is different. Kinda like you say the power is within you and not God. Is it a coincidence then when literally millions of people have tried everything in their own power to change or fix things and when they suddenly give it up to God it gets fixed?
The reality is when we look at truth Christianity comes out on top. If you want to talk philosophy, I’d love to. If you want to discuss morality, I’d love to. Literally no other world view can answer life’s most important questions like Christianity can. You say “the power is within you.” Many people try to do things or quit things and can’t. And once they’ve hit rock bottom and stopped trying, but simply gave their life and surrender to Christ, they were changed. I am one of those people.

As for his assertion to 'always be kind' had he shown kindness to animals, he would not be so fat and unhealthy, from eating them.
