I like the quote. But alot of people get burned out / their lives ruined from overworking themselves. No quote work for everyone or needs to be taken literally at all times. We need more rest and pause in our lives. Than we think.

    • @amritteja6728

None of you guys understand the quote. Napoleon wasn’t saying work harder and work more hours. Grinding and solely working hard isn’t going to get you far in life. Instead what he was saying is to create a side hustle, a hobby, a passion or do something that DOESN’T pay. Eventually, one way or another it will pay you if your heart is fully in it. BUT IT WILL ONLY WORK ONCE YOU STOP CARING ABOUT THE PAY.

Business Man. Ikr..Great lecturer. I remember back in 2001. Got in a lil trouble so they sent me to this boot camp up in NH. They made us do every lesson in his book every morning during meditation. I'll tell you when I first went there I was a punk. By the time I finished the whole book I finally felt like the man my Mother raised me to be. Sad but true.lol. I wish I could remember the name of his book. It was something like. The twelve lessons in positive mental attitude. I listened to every tape he put out. Self discipline, Healthy relationships, etc.. When i would go to bed I listened to his tapes. They say even when your sleeping your mind still absorbs most of the info your listening to. I can't believe I came across this 2day. Thk I'll google his name. This guy is great tho. It was to the point if i couldn't listen to a tape I couldn't fall asleep. He might have passed on awhile ago. Not sure.

Thats why Shakespeare is still a classic 500 years later, Greek sculpture is still beautiful, and confucious' sayings still make sense. they didn't know how things would be hundreds of years later, they just did their thing, but it still rings true with people today. Bible still has a lot of good lessons too.

One of the solutions to procrastination is learning to love the task that you're doing. Think about the positive aspects and the benefits of working/taking action.
Think about what it can do for your future. Imagine the benefits of taking action in your mind.
Getting the task done is just a consequence of doing the process. So you really have no choice but to enjoy the journey.

Centuries ago, there were 10 basic Life Laws written in stone that if we would think deeply in contemplation on them, re: not just humans but ALL God's creations, including the planet intself, and practice them regularly, we would be witness to a totally different world! Unfortunately, most of us fall short of most of them, consistantly__ and SADLY, many are 'put off' from even learning about them and their true meanings because of how they are presented through religious dogma! All other good principles to follow are based on these 10 Laws of Life. Think on this: ANY "law" is basically designed for those who would not "naturally" follow it__meditate on that a few! 😳 In any case, HOWEVER Truth is revealed to you, accepted and practiced by you, I say, "More power to you!" 💎👏👍✌😺

It's always been a ratio, with perhaps the less aware (intelligent) outnumbering the others... I think we are working to tilt the ration to the other side. I believe that is what Napoleon Hill and Andrew Carnegie intended to do with THINK AND GROW RICH. And perhaps that's what it's all about... enlighten yourself, try to help others do the same and we will start to see changes. If the schools seem to be failing and leadership appears unqualified that means we are becoming aware of what needs to change... it is working, we are becoming more aware and intelligent with every day that passes
