We had issues with A 5445 , the dealer took it away a few times and couldn’t fix it . The tractor would go forward when you’d select reverse and reverse when forward was selected. It would then jam on the brakes like yours or not break at all. Complained to Agco directly in France . One of the head engineers and another dealer came to our yard to see what was the problem . The Agco engineer took it for a drive and came back white . All he said was park that tractor it’s a death trap . So they took it away and a brand new 5455 arrived from France . Apparently it was turned into a training tractor for what can go wrong for the engineers . Fair play to Agco they did fix our issue
Great to hear she fine now,🤞 I just don’t understand some dealers, just get on the ball get the problems rectified as you would think the money is coming out of their pocket and the price you pay for new machinery these days you what them right... Hope you got extended warranty 🤔 🤙🤙👍👍
Pleased as the 8’s is back. Let’s hope it’s right after all that time. You’re lucky with AGCO, when we bought our last new Massy a few years ago, they didn’t really care when it went wrong numerous times, with many issues. We are slowly turning another colour now, but still like the look of the 8’s, I hope it goes well for you now.
I'm glad the 8s is back. I'm very curious if they extended the warranty on the whole tractor for the period the tractor was defective and for the period the tractor was away?
I respect .Thank you for your honesty (like). Your videos around 8s help me a lot. When you released the first video with the problem around 8s, since I was already in correspondence with the factory, I immediately forwarded it to the factory, so I believe that in that way I also helped you. Please tell me if you have a problem with the tractor moving at 50 km/h? For me, it returns to 40 km/h even though the brake pedals are locked.
I have broken down 2 of the Dyna E transmissions in 1 year. last one was this fall, heard a big bang and then it didn't want to shift gears anymore... Now we've traded it in for a green tractor instead.
@@jamesmccabe1702 you seem to have missed the sarcasm in my first comment indicated by the 😆 emoji, which sends stupid. As for me thinking the lads and lasses at 4 winds are stupid… it’s fairly obvious that I don’t as I have a lot of respect for Matt having a complete change of carrier and jumping 2 footed into farmer! Yeah he drops a bollock now and again but we all do. As for the others, they have a lot more knowledge and experience than I will ever have so go sit your self in the corner and keep quiet.
Good to have it back, but worrying going forward, to have confidence. Disapointing with a new machine..... Wonder what is the general opinion on the 8S...... The 595 broke hearts back in the day, when it came out too
There's been a few people over here in Australia having to wait a very long time to get spare parts for late model fergies it makes you wonder why you would consider buying one
I wonder if they ever give them to farmers to use before selling them? I bet you got the old one 'well that's the only one that's ever gone wrong or it's the first one to do that'! Shame the secondhand value has taken a big hit!
Equipment made by humans may have flaws, given we can all make mistakes. Good people do all they can to correct the mistakes made and learn from them. Other people can just take their s... and f... off :)
Yes it is a lot so he sold it after the warranty ran out but if agco were looking after you they should have just swapped it for a brand one that's just not worth the hassle for you or them if it goes wrong again I think legally they would have to take it back and replace the whole tractor after the hassle you have had with that one
That's absolutely shocking that u spend 150 grand and you have to fight tooth and nail to have obvious defects rectified. Thanks to youtube for aiding u.they don't inspire confidence in their tractors
If it were mine i wouldn't have it back and demand money back as its not fit for purpose and i would change make .you might think its back and good but it will come back to bite you on the arse 👎
And it's bad enough that the tractor had problems but the problems he had trying to get it sorted with the dealer all the way up a long is completely unacceptable. I would be demanding a minimum of 5000 hours warranty after taking that back.this publicity is not good for the brand image and ultimately the second hand value of those machines has dropped 40% at least as a result of so many issues.they obviously rushed this tractor to the market and allowed the end user be the guinea-pig. Why would anyone stand for this ???
I,m guessing this video is a polite , well prepared retaliation at AGCO and the dealer because they,ve both messed him around so much with an unsatisfactory result, A FULL REFUND is the only way in a case like this.

Wow thats terrible, but as you say fairplay to agco for fixing the issue. Good that the tractor had a use afterwards too to learn from too 👍
Glad you got the 8s back hope it's all sorted now
Cheers 👍 all seems ok so far
Glad the 8S had a happy ending, 4 months is a heck of long time to be without your #1 machine, Thanks Matt.
It is a long time, but there was a lot of work done to try and ensure things were right 👍
Nice to see the 8s back it looks like a new tractor 👍👍👍👍 Matt

Apparently chandlers have enough work until June just on replacing 8S transmissions. So no you aren’t the only one that’s had issues !
👍 good to know we aren't the only ones. Bound to have teething issues with any new machinery
Really glad that you guys got the tractor back in a tip top condition and hope it serves you guys faultlessly for many hours!! 🙂🙂
🤞 fingers crossed. Time will tell when shes put into some proper work 👍

in my experience get rid. it will be very doubtful whether it will be any different in the relabel stakes either have a new one or a change colour

They have changed the whole gearbox in a lot of them. I was told by salesman to only look at a vario one as they are very good
Interesting, seems it could be a common fault then

Nice to see the 8s back. How do you get on with the hardi sprayer? I've got the older model 1800l 24m just wondered if the newer one was OK.
Yes the new one is good. The booms are a little bit slower unfolding, but it travels much better 👍
It sure took them a long time to get 8S done.
It did, but there was a lot of work done 👍
I wouldn't have let them give it back , i believe you're more than entitled to a new tractor
Full refund and buy a different colour would be sensible
