I think it would have been more appropriate to have a massively reinforced gate with tons of HP and no second gate. Would make siege defense more lore accurate in a way.
@@JohnDoe-fo7yi I have no idea how the modders mod but having to siege for at least 5 turns while your siege points go into a massive ram would be awesome.
Lord Bláith, with his smiling visage and stout heart, never failed to inspire bravery in his men nor to lift their spirits in the trying tumult of war. A true Captain of Dunland til the end, he will be sorely missed tonight!
You should stop by at Methraith to wipe out that potentially besieging force. It won't slow you down that much. You are definitely lacking cavalry in the North, you should send some from Rohan. The fight against the Dunedain and the High Elves ought to be a fun one. I think you have it, in a bridge fight. In an open field, it might get a bit dicey, if they manage to sandwich you. Crossbows and pikes are pretty OP, though, so if you get to just camp a bridge, I think you can decimate the Dunedain trying to cross or at least stall them long enough for your crossbows to focus down and kill the elves in their fancy armor. Enedwaith got chonky due to you guarding their northern and eastern flank, allowing them to concentrate on Gondor. And then you distracting Mordor ensured that they pushed through Western Gondor. Frankly, if they were to turn against you, they'd be a bigger problem than Mordor.
It's crazy how some factions get big in EUR. In my High Elves campaign, all of Rohan, Gondor, Harad, Khand, and up to mirkwood is dominated by Isenguard, Mordor and Ar-adunaim. Just massive factions with 20-40 settlements each. They were all allied until they killed off the good factions and now they are duking it out. I'm grabbing the popcorn!
Hello, friend. As the campaign approaches to the end (I can feel it very well), there are not too much to say. In the west, it's very good that the Elfs attack you, so I don't have anything to add to Anarion's comment about the field battle. After you claim Imladris, though, I would opt to go for Cameth Brinn, so as to shield Imladris. I would opt not for Goblin Town, though, so as to avoid a possible doomstack from them, which has Trolls and your western armies don't have the weapons against them. For cavalry, Anarion says it very well, get some Rohirrim to fight in the West to bolster your armies. I agree to go for Metraith first, in order to have some connection and get rid of a possible threat at your side. The siege in Bree is very important, as you have your Ringbearer in there, and it's not a good idea to have him killed. In the East, I think you have a good idea to let Tirith Anduin fall after some turns, no need to waste good men, unless the Orcs sally out. And it's a very good idea to bring news forces for Osgiliath and possibly some governors from where they are not needed. I don't remember where your capital is, but I suppose Isenguard would be a much better spot, because of its central position to your realm as it is right now. And keep on giving something to your economy, even till the very last moment, so as to keep your armies functioning, as I see that you might have quite some difficulties later, if the opponents start to counter-attack. Consider first to retrain and then to get new recruits, so as to keep the veterancy of the previous units. Have a nice time.
Hey Izzy. I feel your pain of having to buy a new PC. My one is currently 8 year old and have to soon retire it for another. Enjoying the campaign so far, always a day highlight
Izzy, have you ever given the thought of making a teaching series for each faction? I've been playing the game for ages and I struggle every single time, no matter the faction.
pleaaseeeee do a woodland realm campaign, its my favourite one that you havent done and i want to see legolas shine just like gandalf and aragorn in reunited kingdom campaign
If he does a Gondor campaign, I would like for him to do what Augimund did, and not be allowed to general stack or use militia-tier units offensively. I found that very enjoyable to watch
I think it's one of my beefs with third age in general : it's such a let down when the main story settlements like Helms deep or Minas Tirith are NOT well defended. I think most of the assaults I've done on them were just a couple of units defending. Wet fart.
Do you know what happened to nihil the mad scientist? Bro hasn't uploaded in 9 years and people don't know what happened to him. I loved his videos growing up, reason I ask you is because he had some collabs with u back in the day
Who needs Grond when a basic level ballista will take out the main gates of Minas Tirith?

Dude, send more cav north! You've just sent like 3 full units to Mordor front where you already have an overflow of cav in Calenhad.

@@Graywolf335 sounds fun, but I think I'd quicker make a video with general tips and tricks, regardless of a faction
