My kid (21) played me one song. Now I'm a huge fan of it all. I shared your music with hubby. Now he is a fan. So please come to Edmonton so we can see you in person. You have so many fans here.
not trying to take away from how absolutely fucking brilliant this album is, but check out CryWank orJordaan Mason & The Horse Museum. Might dig em. cheers!
Your music has been my shinning beacon in one of the most unforgivingly tumultuous years in my life. I lost my oldest friend in June last year, lost a romantic relationship with someone who was my everything, and finally lost my best friend and brother in February. I am used to being melancholy and low. But how much I can relate to the lyrics. Are one of the few things responsible, for me breathing. Let alone continuing to fight. I was at my absolute fucking breaking point of ending the breathless struggle of loss. Between that and your message and delivery. I'm here and far from where I was. P.s... You'll never read this run on paragraph. But from the bottom of my fucking heart and the accent of my success. Thank you for being real and please dont stop expressing and writing !
Was walking through Davis the other day and heard a car bumping the live session version of the liars club and I damn near pissed myself, you’re the man
I cried for the entire 33 minutes the first time I listened, and somehow plenty of them were tears of joy. I didn't even know I could feel this way. Also, Letter From Death Row fucked me up almost as much First Day of the End of My Life on the first listen. Your music is incredible and I'm so very grateful to get to listen to it. Thank you for this, Danny. It truly is something special.
First day of the end of my life fucked me up too, I related to it so hard and I'm just now discovering his songs like that and it's really life changing. I relate so much to it and I forget people go through some shit that I do.
Ok I hate to be that guy but all Danny's music fks me up. But it also revitalizees me. But there's also the band gangstergrass song never going home again.
Small Stone. I cried and cheered when I finally heard it. Such beauty in the pain of a human experience. The whole album is great. Keep this art coming.
phenomenal album, 30 seconds into shadow hits like NOTHING else. absolutely no skips and each song definitely has something to say. gonna force everyone i know to listen to this. “i’ll show you the PAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIN of getting clean is so fucking raw
So many new favourites on this album, vocals have come such a long way, the whole thing feels cohesive and such a beautiful expression of growth and truth as an artist. I can see the surety and constraint within the expressions, and I love that. Drop for Every Hour, Different Anymore, and Small Stone have feel feelin' a certain kinda way I must say. I'm so happy this is finally out
my husband was the one to introduce to amigo the devil and i have loved every step of the way. beyond happy to listen to this album and have one more thing me and my husband treasure together. 🥺🖤 im so happy
I showed this to my grandparents, and they said it sounds like something a serial killer would listen to. To me, this is the best album to come out this year. I don't even usually listen to this style, but holy shit man. This is something special
Laying here in the dark in Chelmsford, MA with the blinds completely open and watching the rain come down....this was the perfect timing for me to run into this album! Its been so long since I've found an entire album that I could play all the way through the first time and not feel a need to skip a track. Thank you, Amigo The Devil, for your musical works and talents! This album is a perfection!!!
Ha! I listened to album on TH-cam went and bought on the store. only to check my mailbox and realize I preordered back in November and have the CD in my hands now.
This whole album is an absolute masterpiece, but Murder at the Bingo Hall is just incredible! Also Quiet as a Rat has a huge Tom Waits feel and I love it.
20:34 "Life is a lot like a sewer, we get out of it, what we put in." Well, since I didn't put much into live anymore, I got much more out of it. For the longest time, I put everything into it, that I had ... and got only shit out.
Wow... Letter From Death Row... What a fantastic song. There ain't too many songs that make me tear up but this is one of them. The only other one off the top of my head is Cocaine and Able. You're music is very powerful. Even though you'll never see this, thank you for everything. I'm truly grateful for this all just like I'm sure everyone else is.
Man i absolutely love your music. Every time i listen to a song i feel like you are speaking for me. I so understand and relate. You are one of my favorite musicians!
In the previous "version" of my comment I made a prediction "This sounds like an album that will need half a listen to be loved, but 4 or 5 to be fully absorbed. And that's what I love about Danny." Well...I WAS FUCKING RIGHT! Wonderful, truly wonderful. His songs speak a truth I share, deep inside of me, but never realized I needed to say out loud, not that I had the lyrical talent to do it. I know I will cry more than a little as soon as the vinyl will start spinning and Danny's voice will come out of my headphones.
This is simply musical and lyrical divinity! Sensitive and dangerous all at once in perfect balance. I hope to see you live soon...but for now I will keep playing this masterpiece!
Another Man's grave and Letters from deathrow are by far my two favorites off this album. All of them are are great but, for me songs like those two with just an acoustic guitar and a voice just hit me harder. I can just feel/relate to those without the extra instruments or having the sound of a specific genre.
Today I bought this album from Bandcamp and put it on my phone and added it to my Amigo playlist. I walked around the city for a few hours and let the album sink in! I love it so much! It's so hard to choose my favourite but I'm going to say my stand-out track is Another Man's Grave!
Holy shit. Chills the entire time. I have a review of your shit on amazon, but it looks like they've changed names...damn thats how far back i've gone. I'm so proud of you.
My goodness, this sucked me in right off the bat. Love this man. Your voice is amazing. Read an article mention how it had a rain dogs vibe and I was like OK let's do this!
The night of one of your concerts, was the day my and ex and I started dating. You took a picture with us and my signed ATD flag. From then, your music has gotten me through our best times. The time we became addicts. My recovery. Her lack of recovery.. us splitting up.. my continued recovery and finding and loving myself again. The first song on this album had me in tears. Different Anymore absolutely wrecks me every time I hear it. This whole album is amazing. Your music has continued to get me through life since I first heard your music years ago. I hope you're doing well danny.
I hope you're loving yourself again 🧡 This music collects such remarkable fans, like you. Thanks for the brutally honest video comment. I liked reading how the music moves you and moves through the years with you.
@@amay_zingg Thank you. I've been getting there and doing better at being me again. It's been a hell of a journey but the people I'm meeting and the lessons I've learned are amazing and invaluable. I don't think I've met a more supportive group of fans of a band than this one. Were all on our own paths but it really feels like Danny keeps us all together some way.
@@anthonycampos2634 Absolutely! Danny keeps his audience with his storytelling and talent! Love it! Hey also Amigo the Devil did an Instagram takeover of the Fender account and you can see videos of his jam space and hear him talk about it and his instruments. Not sure what happens to the videos after 24hrs but I thought they were cool to watch!
I have so many different styles I love right now and have. I think it is a advantage to this artist. Not being limited to one style or region for musical study. Great job to Amigo And the team,
No clue what kind of relation I draw between your lyrics and my life, but it’s there lol, awesome album man, come play in Pennsylvania, on the philly side, and I’ll see ya!!!

DANNY, see you in Woodstock! Please play the whole album? ;) Edit: I've already listened to this album more times than I can count. Still brilliant. All the way from 'Small' to 'need', the whole album is a masterpiece. A Peas de Resit tents. It's just the bees knees. So Amigo. Every track, I can't listen to one track, cause then I have to listen to all of them, and it becomes this big thing. Danny, good job harnessing the angsty zeitgeist of Coronavirus, and turning it into a work of art that so many will remember till death. It, you, all of us, burned into our retinas.
