My friend did the wrapping for me but he did not remove the chrome pieces off the car. He put the gloss black wrap on the chrome trims and cut through the edges. The front grille is the only thing that’s not wrapped. I removed it off the bumper (without taking the bumper off) and painted it it with gloss black.
Yessir it’s definitely a lot quicker than before. I’ve beaten a newer 335i with intake, dodge scat packs, Subaru wrx & sti’s. Not the fastest car but definitely just a tad bit quick lol
I know the injen sp causes the engine light to come on... (Oh but the sound and burbles it makes...) With just a muffler and res delete.. does it also come on... Picking my 228 up on the 18th
When I modified my exhaust, check engine light didn’t come on. But when I got the catless down pipe, the check engine light came on. It was removed with the BM3 Tune.

Heard the wiring is different, and at the risk of sounding like a douch, that's one of the main reasons I bought the car... Carvana... Not seen it yet, but it doesn't look to have any LED's on it.
@@f22bmw if you’re talking about the headlights, yes they are expensive. To have someone modify your headlights from halogen to hid projectors with the halos, the cheapest I’ve found is $1,300 for both. Or you can get headlights off of a M235i or 228i M package. But each usually sells for $400. Might be one of my last mods because of how expensive it is. Waiting to find a deal. And when I do, I will make a video!
Nope I don’t rub at all with firehawk indy 500 tires. I used to rub a lot with Michelin sport pilot and hankook Ventus. There is poke in the rear, but no rub with Firestone Firehawk indy 500 tires.

Vrsf catless downpipe (causes check engine light) BootMod3 tune (removes check engine light) Straight pipe This will get you sounding right 👌🏽 you can even just get the tune and do a straight pipe. The tune is honestly what makes the car sound better. The downpipe gives you more turbo spool and that sounds 👌🏽👌🏽

Juan Loaiza I was able to do it once ngl. Don’t know how that happened. Saw a little race flag on my dash. But every time I launch it, I hold rpms at almost 2k and then go full throttle.
Just brake to the floor and then gas to the floor, has to be in sport+ and sport transmission setting, and have been running for at least 10 minutes. After you push the gas to the floor it will automatically raise rpms and the flag should pop up and you just let off brake.
What exactly is your exhaust? How does it go out a single through the one exit? Been searching for one but can’t seem to find one. I have a 2016 bmw 228i with double exhaust on one side.
I literally went to my nearest muffler shop and told them, “I want a single exit, muffler & resonator delete”. They showed me the different tips in stock so I ended up choosing a 3 inch tip. They shaped the pipes & welded them. I also could not find a single exit online. That’s why I ended up going to a muffler shop
I’ve have got two more questions, was this exhaust completely stock before? (Like no down pipe, tune, etc.) second one is, did you leave the stock resonator in or no?
Daniel M Front: 19x8.5 225/40/19 Rear: 19x9.5 245/35/19. I recommend firestone Indy 500’s. I’ve tried Michelin sport pilot and hankook Ventus with the same tire size and it rubs a lot. The Indy 500’s don’t rub at all, best tires for this set up 👌🏽

In the video, all I had was a muffler delete. But I recommend muffler and resonator delete. Not too loud but sounds really good
