HOLY CRAP!!! Things are making sense now. Kai didn't just lose Vanguard, he gained a new life. His literal world was made about Vanguard because he lost his family and those he trusted made him feel alone. Kai got all that erase, after losing a single card. Man I know people that would love a chance like that for real.
Kai parents were neglectful and stole money before leaving Kai with no word what happened…so not sure if Kai would jump to be back I’m their family

When I saw a happy Kai with his family it made me cry. Seeing Kai so happy with his family it actually hurts because this timeline is not exactly real and what actually happened was too sad but they will have to make him remember everything and fix the timeline to save Aichi and that’s too harsh because if/when he remembers what exactly happened he will think that he’s living a lie. I wonder what they will choose to do ?????? Will they really hurt Kai to save Aichi ??????

I was originally excited for this episode for luard, but then he didn’t really do anything, and this episode was pretty dark when you know Kai’s backstory
Naoki, in all his incarnations, throughout the entire series of vanguard for the past 10 years, has never changed.

Such a gentlemen, is it me or does his voice in if sounds a lot lighter and not as deep in the reboot. I’m getting legion feels when the ending plays I think Kai will be the one with DOTX to fix this timeline
Or maybe we will get new Blaster Blade and Overlord cards (again) like how Blaster Blade became Blaster Joker in Legion Mate, and they will finish it off in a final Cardfight. Or something entirely new we can't think of possibly yet.

I think the voice change is intentional to show the difference between how kai really is verse how it could have been.

Being reminded of Naruto Movie 6 and then I even see the line from Flash... Me getting depressed again cause apparently happy pasts for characters that didn't get them will just hurt, always. Even if in the future, they are happy now.

it feels like a legion mate reboot. i mean look at the entire premise of the show now. from the ending it looks like kai is gonna play a pivotal part in getting back the old aichi so it’s for certain that he will rmb soon abt everything that has transgressed. moreover there’s so many cues and nods to legion mate, kai using royal paladin but in the ending hes shown to have switched back to kagero, his outfit is literally almost the same as his legion mate outfit, etc etc. this is a big twist from what we expected (vanguard: magical girl)

Yas! Now I don't have to wrack my brain to make up a description for his "evil parents" anymore! And I can save their faces for future reference and pump up that no-grandparents angst that tends to pop up in next-gen anime! Like, Author-Powers time-travel shows the Kaichi kids their paternal grandparents and then they're all crying. In the following Family Meeting, someone draws up their faces and then we got character development (for the dynamics, too). It's sad, it's tearjerking, but we gotta face the possibilities presented. It's Character Development for us all.

Recently I cannibalized a theme deck with the one I currently am working on regarding the pokemon TCG. You know how easy it is to lose those things when you haven't played like four months?

All I know is that Kai and Aichi stayed in the same town for quite some time and never had that dynamic. They never even met, and without Aichi, there was no Vanguard. The two were interlinked. You can either accept that opinion, or you can have a civil discussion.

OMG this series is the replacement for the Reboot of Kai and his friend having to save Aichi but this world rewritten. I love this now Kai is here but with another personality of his form self. Miwa, Kai closet friend is the enemy is a good and Kai working Emi to save Aichi the two closet people to Aichi. His sister and his best friend/rival.
If Kai is the main mc in the next episode, I would love to see him beside Misaki. It would be cute to see their interaction.
