I am a huge Kelly Clarkson fan. And I do like her version of this. The way she can connect the lines without a breath make it sound so smooth. Her voice is just divine.
But, (there's always a but) there is an intangible feeling of awe that gave me goose bumps the first time I heard Lauren's version. I also like the fact that Lauren could hit the low notes, showing her incredible range.
For me, it's a tie!! I like each version for different reasons. It's a win/win for us because we have two gorgeous versions of an incredibly written song!

Out of all the versions I've heard, I think Kelly has the best high "Enough." It's super smooth and controlled but she is also the only person I've heard that raised the pitch on both of the low notes at the beginning. Those notes are hard too.

What a hawk to cover Loren’s song so soon. Kelly’s high notes were so strong and solid and it pushed her version to the top of my “who sang the song the best” list. Loren’s expressions were 💯. I doubt I’ll find better. Vocally, Kelly snatched up that song out of Loren’s hand and spanked her with it. Now I’m gonna see how my Filipinos are singing this song there will be a least a couple who will come close.

Kelly's voice is truly EPIC. She can sing ANYTHING and make it feel fresh and powerful, modern and classic, all at the same time. She's also a good human. Class act.
As many others have said both Loren Allred and Kelly have made their mark on this song. I personally approve of Loren’s over anyone else because of her amazing skills and voice but Kelly is a close second and brings her unique approach. She doesn’t try to match Loren but stays within herself.

Kelly vs loren's never enough is like demi lovato vs idina menzel's let it go. One is broadway and operatic while the other is pop and rhythmic. They both sound good though people couldnt just help but compare them. If Kelly (or Demi) would have sung the songs first people would have been biased in favor of these artists too.
