- Not just a marble battle, but the entire war.
Armies travel randomly across the map, engaging in combat if they meet. Once conquered, towns will produce more fighters for the player. Whenever the army goes to the home city or an friendly town, it will reinforce itself with fighters.
If an army is defeated, it will retreat to its home city to regroup.
If a player's home city is attacked, the king will join in the defense. If the king is slain, the city will be lost, and the remaining fighters will form flee as a new army.
If a player has no home city whenever an army is defeated, that army is permanently destroyed.
Destroy all the enemy kings and armies to win!
Four colours competing:
Purple, Green, Blue and Yellow

In the battle at 18:00 the last green guy took down 2 sword and shield guys, 3 normal, and two axemen, probably the most insane normal soldier in the game.

I feel like the smaller, special locations should create a circle of travelling fighters once they reach 10 units, after the main castle has been destroyed.
_Imagine_ the disruption that purple could have brought to the 1v1 if the tent on the left suddenly sent out special soldiers to take all of green's locations!

What if you award equipment based on achievements?
E.g. 3 Kills in one battle gets a second hitpoint, 7 Kills in one battle gets a shield, sole survivor gets a helmet, 10 total kills gets a longsword etc.
That'd make me root for some specific marbles and it gives them personality.

However it'd make these types of games even longer. I already think some kind of sudden death (shrinking battlefield etc.) would benefit my short attention span lmao
an idea to add onto that. maybe if a marble reaches a certain level or something. it splits the army and becomes a Warlord. a sort of Boss marble that can lead armies and is overall just a badass
maybe they could even be given cool names

If you could for instance change the number of soldiers in Trench War, where the x2, x50, tanks go etc. Mess with the timer that opens each stage.

Since it's fairly easy to reach an enemy capital, the fact that a king can yolo into battle makes instant losses too often and not really fun. I'd suggest a temporary debuff for the defending army (and they can elect another king if they still win). And even if the battle is lost, the city should not fall, so a returning field army has the opportunity to reconquer it.
Also, Kings should have 2 axes and a helmet.

The comeback from green was legendary. Their king was dead, but his spirit lived on.
Green knights in the middle being absolutely brutal underdogs at 24:28, 26:28, and 31:59

Total: 1036 Casualties
Yellow was eradicated quite fast! And they only participated in 6 battles before losing their final town.
Green stuck around for a long time despite losing their king and castle. In fact, no castles remained at the end of the game!
Green also participated in 37 battles, the most out of any other faction.
Purple also stuck around for a while despite losing their castle and all their soldiers.

I love how purples last bastion was undefeatable until they got Separated. It showcases the power of Unity !!
Green had plenty of opportunities to successfully sack the Purple and Blue castles but bailed on most of them
I love the way that purple continued to hang on till the end through the westmost hut and even got revenge on blue by wiping their forces over and over each time they tried taking that hut
Could you add archers and make castles shoot arrows at nearby armies? Also, in the future, are you able to add animal packs that will target random armies and can’t attack buildings unless tamed? Their spawn can’t be captured but when an animal army is defeated the last three animals will become trained, then they can attack buildings with the color that defeated them. Wolves: They have a dash attack. Bears: they have to get hit two times to die. Falcons: They have a dash attack and throw a rock at an enemy every 10 seconds to stun them which for three seconds but their talons are small to balance it out. Hope you consider these ideas in the future!

IDEA 2 : HELMETS has health and they Will break over the hits
IDEA 3 : kingdoms can rebuild themselfs if the structures are alive long enough (grey Marbles takes more time)
IDEA 4 : Marbles can upgrade their kingdoms if they conquer structures ( only if scraps are BEING spawned in the fight and the flag comes to take the scraps )

I can already tell this series is going to be super interestinngg judging by these first couple of videos.
I think adding more kingdoms could make this super interesting, 8 kingdoms would be super chaotic but nonetheless entertaining. Also i think castles should have more defenses some of the blocks are archer towers that cant get destroyed and slowly shoot down the enemy. Also maps can be made more interesting with doors, spikes, artillery (catapults perhaps), ore differentkinds of maps. I think there should be an experience actor in this game as well say a marbble survives a bbattle or gets a kill they can reciev small buffs like extra speed or extra rotational speed maybe after a certain point they can get a weapon upgrade or recieve a helmet/shield. To inndicate an exxperience increase the marble cant get darker. Newer weapons can also be interesting, archers (shoots arrow but has some ai like it targets the enemy) , stronger axe that can break shields annd helmets, long sword, they can be acquired by looting chests that can randomly spawn in maps
Also maybe weapons can destroy/bounce arrows
I like the experience idea. I would like to be able to identify veterans beyond just their one(or more) battle.

18:24 everything about this scene is perfect. the music changes to an intense melody as the last green marble is left to fight off against multiple elite blue warriors, including 2 axe men, who in the beginning of the war were nigh unstoppable. the green marble masterfully takes out both of them with ease, and then hunts down the rest, never giving in to fear. he believed he would single handedly win this battle, that is until the last blue, the weakest of the blues, took advantage of his cockiness, and made a swift strike while the green was basking in his glory. a tragic end to a war hero

Who needs a king? Two armies are far more effective.

I would also recommend doing something about the kings being able to charge straight into battle on their lonesome. It really turns things around when it shouldn’t.
It's kind of a feature to give even small armies a chance at defeating the home cities, but I'll probably add some basic king defense AI

I just cant unsee it now lol. I just picture blue team as Santino Marella in the royal rumble when he had a chance to win over Alberto Del Rio but screwed up and still lost. Blue literally just had to build a force and let green and purple fight. Lol

Is there a way to level up marbles as they get more kills? I'd really like to see promotions for units that deserve it, especially the ones that solo defend succesfully. Pretty sad to see them blend in and die in the very next battle. Perhaps slightly faster weapon spin or spin acceleration? Or more weapons or armor later on? It would make lopsided battles more interesting too i think

My favorite series so far, I like that the marbles can clutch for their king and there are new things now hope there is more in the future.

Ideas for Marble Kingdoms 3
Bosses
Mutant S-Rad: shoots 2 arrows at a fast rate. Has 3HP.
Mutant T-Rad: shoots 3 arrows at a normal rate. Has 3HP.
Mutant P-Rad: shoots 5 arrows at a slow rate. Has 5HP.
Mutant E-Pink 01: shoots 3 rocks at a slow rate. Has 4HP.
Mutant E-Pink 02: shoots 6 arrows at a normal rate. Has 2HP.
Mutant E-Pink 03: shoots 3 homing rats at a fast rate. Has 3HP.
Mutant XXX-King: shoots 5 rocks at a slow rate and 8 arrows at a normal rate. Has 8HP.
Rad bosses give you tier 2 weapons (spear, long sword, bow and arrow)
E-Pink bosses give you a random weapon
XXX-King bosses give you tier 3 weapons (barbarian, paladin, rat prince). Stops the spawn of bosses when killed.
New weapons
Long sword: is a wider and shorter alternative of the Spear.
Bow and arrow: shoots arrows at a normal rate, needs to pick up arrows to shoot again.
Rat prince: spawns 6 rats at a slow rate to attack enemies.
Pets
Dog: common animal can be your pet if you touch it 2 times. Normal speed, spits bones at enemies.
Snake: rare animal can be your pet if you touch all 3 or 4 segments. Slow speed, attacks when a segment is broken, dies, when the head is broken.
Pet E-Pink: can be found in a Mutant E-Pink invasions. This pet does the same attacks as E-Pink 2.
Enemies
Mutant-Pink: a monster that follows a random player and shoots arrows at a slow rate.
Gobblin: a green turkey that is scared of you and spits rocks at a random player.
Since Red wasn't in this and my second fav was knocked out right away, I started routing for the Neutrals 😝. I recommend putting a better difference between Blue and Purple, as it is hard to tell whos who when they are fighting.
Even if ur team get beated it's not fun to cheer another team you a betrayer

But two kings running outside the walls unsupported looked strange. And purples king was blocked by one of his own when trying to go back inside. Regicide?
What about adding a throne or a shield element in front of the king so that he won't be the first one outside the gates?
Some sort of cavalry marble would be cool too.

Animal packs(in forest tiles)
Wizard (shoots fireballs)
Royal knights(long sword instead of spear, must stay in castle)
Horse(allows armies to move faster depending on % with horses)
Treaties(kings choosing to aliance, armys will shy away from fellow bases, ends when armies attack eachother)
Those are just some ideas, if you have any please put them in the replies!
Tribes having different attitudes:
Agro level (mables in fight when chase of enemy begins)
Base importance (on touch with your base, a fraction from troops total to be left to defend)
I think wizards are a bit 2 powerful and won't be needed?
While on actual paths, the armies should move faster.

Purple felt like they didnt get a lot fo the other classes most of the time and where barely fighting with spearmen, plus the Purples King being a damn warrior king it was amazing he took on so many on his own but he should of stayed back
Coulda gave his army the chance to recruit more of the axe men like near the end who held a 4 man formation to wipe out the enemy army.
I do find it finny green's king tried to do the exact same as purples but instantly got merked

It's very nice. Congratulations on your success. Many friends in the comments complained that the kings died fast. And I've seen a few different suggestions. I would like to add a suggestion: maybe it would be nicer if the king had a helmet. And I don't know if it's hard for you to do, but if the king had a certain circular range and could you add 2 guards with personal shields and helmets at that range? Let the guard follow the king in them. And do not leave the king's circular range. At least they prevent the lynching of the brave king who has left his army and is caught in the middle of the enemy.

Technically the king does have a helmet (the crown blocks attacks).
What I have in mind is some basic AI, something like during a king battle, allied units will steer towards the king, or something like that.

I can see why people wouldn't like the king assassination, but in my opinion it's a vital part of this experience, the situation that was created at the end game where the last remaining blue kingdom was trying to stretch its rule across the kingdom, but at every point contested by the vastly larger roaming green horde, but both sides had to face trouble with the large settlements of extremely specialised remaining purple tribes, it was super interesting and told a great story, that just wouldn't have been possible if kings couldn't be so easily assassinated
the main things i'd like is some way to keep track of marbles, maybe only after they've gotten a kill, so you can go "oh shit the guy that killed 8 marbles all by himself was slain..."

How in the world did blue last that long with how bad they were? I'm usually a blue supremacist, but jeez did they suck, I was actually cheering when their king was finally slain.

Blue and purple met on an open field thrice, and all three times blue was massacred.
I think the kings need to not be allowed to leave the castle, or have AI that discourages them from doing so. It hurt watching Purple's king just run out Leeroy Jenkins style all on his own TWICE.

edit: I just thought of something that might be interesting; barbarian kings. what if each time a grey settlement got attacked and wins there would be a chance for a dead color to return? also maybe when soldiers flee those settlements they become grey again
