    One thing I would add is the importance of understanding the job market and industry trends in Canada. Conducting research on the types of jobs and industries that are in demand in Canada can help you tailor your job search and increase your chances of success. Additionally, obtaining any relevant education or training, such as a Canadian degree or certification, can also make you a more competitive candidate.
    Thank you again for sharing your helpful advice. I'm sure it will be invaluable to those looking to make the transition to working in Canada.

    As a person who has worked as a non technical project coordinator for 2 years and a client servicing executive for 1 year in a mainline advertising agency, I plan on coming to Canada for a 2 year Post graduation certificate program in digital marketing. How realistic is it to expect an entry level job right after my course?
    P.S I don't plan on continuing to work in client servicing/business development/non technical project coordination but, instead get a job on the basis of what is taught in course. Is it advisable to make the move?

    • @InTheNorthCanada

      Hi there, thank you so much for liking the video.
      If you are planing to create an Express Entry profile, we have shared the documents , cost and process in this video - th-cam.com/video/Md11yvtHujM/w-d-xo.html
      For police verification certificate go to the Passport Seva website , there is usually a form you can fill and there is small fee you need to pay for the process. Then they come to your house to verify you.
      The medical examination needs to be done only after you get the Invitation to Apply and you will get communication via email or on your Express Entry profile which facility you need to visit to get that done.

    Hi Guys, thanks for making such amazing videos.
    I am 29 year old(Married) and working as a IT Project Manager in India. I am planning to move to Canada, but haven't started with any of the formalities, It's still a thought. I want to change my work domain from IT PM to Customer Success related roles in India, work for some time and then move to Canada.
    Would switching work domains affect my chances of getting a job in Canada ? do you recommend doing this ?

    • @InTheNorthCanada
      @InTheNorthCanada  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes it may affect. As most of your experience would be as a PM for which NOC Code would be different than that for the customer success. So during your application you will be confused as to what exact NOC Code should you choose. If Canada is your plan, I would not recommend switching the profession as of now. You can change the profession once you are in canada.

    I have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical branch and 4 years of experience in Manual Testing in Infosys. What would be the better option for me to go with? Should I file using Express Entry Draw or should I get a work permit visa and get some Canadian experience. Please share your insights. My preference as everyone else's is to get Canadian PR asap.

      @@navjotsingh7536 Hi Navjot, the best way that I personally think is going through previous years (last 3 years) to cross compare the questions which are repetitive. And for the interview part, if you are from a non IT or CSE field, then don't be afraid cause its fairly easy as there are mostly none technical questions.

    • @Harmeetsingh-om8sv

      @@snehaparanjpe5454 Hi Sneha, according to what I have experienced, i will say that getting work permit of Canada while working in India is very difficult and chances are very less. You have to create a linkedin profile cause in Canada, Linkedin profile matters. Also, getting work permit is also a lengthy procedure. The best way is to get a one year diploma or degree student visa and then move on to Work permit. Hope this helps.

      Yes but you would need to demonstrate some transferable skills. For example a teacher can apply for administrative role because a teacher also has to do administrative tasks such as file management, etc

    Thanks guys, I like your style and the complete and clear information you share. This is one of my favorite TH-cam channel. I have a question and I don’t know if you are able to answer but my country has a FTA with Canadá, so I have a LMIA exemption. I don’t really know how to answer to the question if I need a sponsorship when applying to a work in Canada. How it works is the employer has to call and get a code for the excemption and with that number when you get to Canada you recibe the working vida immediately.

    • @amyseaden9069
      @amyseaden9069 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      FTA doesn't necessarily mean you have LMIA exemption. It may depend on the type of job in Canada.
