Adam: I want to be on top! Lilith: No. Adam: GOD! Lilith: I’m out of here. God: It’s okay, you didn’t need her. We can make another. Adam: Really? How? God:...this will only hurt once.
so pretty much the relationship of Adam and Lilith was pretty much Lilith: i want to be on top. Adam: but i want to be top Lilith: ..... You're boring, This ain't gonna work
Adam was such a fool. Each takes their turn being on top or both of them doing it on their side. A mindless bimbo can get really boring after a while. A full-time demanding vixen can test one's nerves. I love my 'Sugar & Spice' wife (35 yrs and still going strong).
Everyone blaming Eve for getting us kicked out Eden but don’t want to talk about how if Adam had been a bottom we would all be chillin in the garden rn. Smh.
Eve lusted after Gadre'el (Satan's real name. Satan is not a name but a title) and had sex with him and the result of that is birth pains and contractions. The original sin was adultery. The fruit was a metaphor for sex. Cain was Gadre'el father while Adam was the father of Abel.
@Sophie Tecle @Silver Chariot the garden of Eden was separate from the earth and heaven as in a negotiator kinda anyways the garden was made in the desert as an oasis and the flood destroyed the garden since God wanted to wipe out everything he created
@Sophie Tecle and you're welcome madam it's a good idea to read up on stuff before you assume something anyways I only came here because of hotel hazbin and Lilith being Charlie's mom. Anyways again it's time to awaken my masters *pillar men theme starts*
Donovan Aponte upgraded? Yep that is why humanity is so fucked up. I would dare say that Lilith is the one who upgraded. Satan is tougher than Adam after all.
@Donovan Aponte i agree . based on Adams perception he upgraded n got a submissive woman just for him. He prayed n God had to make him some type of woman from Adam own rib. God saw Lillith was too much for him so he gave Adam someone that he could handle. Just like today there are some men who can handle strong women then there's them who have to find them an Eve who's just going to disobey him n eat the apple anyway. To each their own.
In a mythology class in university, our professor asked the class if anyone knew who Lilith was. This was before the internet, so only a few students raised their hands. He then asked, "How many of you are Catholic?" The same people raised their hands. He explained that Catholics study the Apocrypha and thus know about Lilith, but most Protestants never read beyond the heavily-edited King James version and the "approved" books, so they've never heard of Adam's first wife. Also fun fact: the Book of Esther only made it into the final cut of the Bible by one vote at the Council of Nicaea. The bishops didn't like that the main character was a woman and the name of God was not used, so they claimed this made the entire book "not inspired." Imagine what other idiotic social and political reasons were given for all the other books cut out of the final draft!
Concerning that one vote, it's there now which is good. Sometimes all God needs to do to make sure His message still goes through is pushing that one person to vote "Aye".
How funny and convenient is that the current version in this kind of society.. all the important people are males even God and funny how no one ever thought about that and even funnier realizing the existence of the one important female was cut off
@@nochu9753 I love to tell overzealous misogynists that in the original Hebrew, God is referred to with feminine pronouns. I mean, I could explain the grammar of ancient Hebrew and that it's mostly the Holy Spirit that is consistently addressed as female while Elohim is male, or get technical that the name Yahweh is half female (yah) half male (weh) and God is described as both a "Father" but also a "woman in labor" which emphasizes that God transcends sex and gender... but nah. Let them sputter stupidly on the idea of "God is a woman?!?" 🤣
Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Later, in Genesis 2:4, it seems that a second, different story of creation begins. The idea of two differing creation accounts is a common misinterpretation of these two passages which, in fact, describe the same creation event. They do not disagree as to the order in which things were created and do not contradict one another. Genesis 1 describes the "six days of creation" (and a seventh day of rest), Genesis 2 covers only one day of that creation week"the sixth day"and there is no contradiction. In Genesis 2, the author steps back in the temporal sequence to the sixth day, when God made man. In the first chapter, the author of Genesis presents the creation of man on the sixth day as the culmination or high point of creation. Then, in the second chapter, the author gives greater detail regarding the creation of man. There are two primary claims of contradictions between Genesis chapters 1-2. The first is in regard to plant life. Genesis 1:11 records God creating vegetation on the third day. Genesis 2:5 states that prior to the creation of man "no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground." So, which is it? Did God create vegetation on the third day before He created man (Genesis 1), or after He created man (Genesis 2)? The Hebrew words for "vegetation" are different in the two passages. Genesis 1:11 uses a term that refers to vegetation in general. Genesis 2:5 uses a more specific term that refers to vegetation that requires agriculture, i.e., a person to tend it, a gardener. The passages do not contradict. Genesis 1:11 speaks of God creating vegetation, and Genesis 2:5 speaks of God not causing "farmable" vegetation to grow until after He created man. The second claimed contradiction is in regard to animal life. Genesis 1:24-25 records God creating animal life on the sixth day, before He created man. Genesis 2:19, in some translations, seems to record God creating the animals after He had created man. However, a good and plausible translation of Genesis 2:19-20 reads, "Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them, and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field." The text does not say that God created man, then created the animals, and then brought the animals to the man. Rather, the text says, "Now the LORD God had [already] created all the animals." There is no contradiction. On the sixth day, God created the animals, then created man, and then brought the animals to the man, allowing the man to name the animals. By considering the two creation accounts individually and then reconciling them, we see that God describes the sequence of creation in Genesis 1, then clarifies its most important details, especially of the sixth day, in Genesis 2. There is no contradiction here, merely a common literary device describing an event from the general to the specific. Got Questions Ministries
Quick question, growing up I had read the Bible many times and I have never seen any mention of Lilith. This is a genuine question, is Lilith real and is she ever mentioned in the Bible?
I know in parts of Russia and Eastern Europe they still put amulets on baby cribs. Are singing a lullaby or Lilith bye. I can see where the legend came from that she was blamed for babies that died of SIDS.
For Lilith, it had to do with power, than just being on top. You have to understand the context. She was attacking his role as MAN, the leader of the family unit. Woman have always been subject to man. Women today don't like that. For men, it has nothing to do with power and everything to do with responsibility. Men aren't perfect and neither are the other half. People need to unplug their butts by pulling their heads out. Then, maybe you'd start getting some common sense.
I thought Lilith was also known as Lilium. A demon known in Judaism, that ate children. Lilith was also mentioned in Catholicism, along with the fallen angel Samael who saught to destroy Lucifer.
LCmcpherson how so? Im the only enlightened illuminated Androgynous serpent race alive.. Yes..Samael..Lilith..caduceus.. You didnt think she was real.? Owls..serpents..lions..doves.. Rainbow Serpent..#13 yahuah is another name.. The vatican owl.. Ye shall surely not die..ye shall be as gods..knowing good and evil..at no event will you be god..or above..You will know the truth..of who and what god is.. And that is just the start..
Lilith was the first woman. She refused to be subservient to Adam and peaced out. It was men creating stories that made her a Diemond, because they didn’t want women to have a diety to aspire to. They made her evil. They scared women away from honouring her by making up stories about her eating babies.
the only way to break the demon is to sodimize her with blood then you are over her(it) seal the wound with fire from your shared skin and the spell will fade over 3 yrs.
It really wasn't that funny tbh. Why do people exaggerate their reactions like some joke or other is the funniest thing they've ever heard or will ever hear again?
if Adam & Eve are the first & third people then who are the people of Nod that live outside of Eden? the ones they go live among after being banished from the garden?
I'll try not to get long winded here... In Genesis there are two stories, one says that God made everything then made man and woman in His 'image'. Then it goes on to say God created the Garden of Eden and created Adam and Eve. First dissect the word 'image', remember that this is a translation and like many translations there a disparity in the actual meaning. Keeping in mind that every culture has nuances to the words they incorporate which do not have a parallel in the language it is being translated into, there's a deeper meaning. The original Old Hebrew word that is translated as image has a different meaning than what we conceive when we hear the word 'image'. In our vernacular it means a reflection or depiction of someone or something, whereas the original word meant to take something from yourself and create another 'you'. There was no word with the same concept so the closest word/meaning was used. So basically, God created Man and Woman from His essence, imbuing them with god-like powers. These 'godlings' wanted for nothing, everything they wanted they got. What happens when there's no adversity? Stagnation and decadence. Seeing this God creates the Garden of Eden, with a plan, and makes Adam and Lilith to dwell there. But by creating them both from the earth, Lilith has a mind of her own and decides she doesn't want to 'lie beneath' Adam. She rebels and God condemns her to bear hundreds of children each day, dead children who become demons. Why, if God could make someone from nothing does He create Eve from Adam's rib? This is interesting when you break it down. First of all, by doing so several things occur, one of which is it creates certain bond between the two, or ore specifically bonds Eve to Adam. Next is something that we can see today... what happens when someone is blind? They're other senses are heightened, smell, hearing etc. Take this a step further, by creating Eve from Adam, his attributes/traits are changed. By the taking of the rib Adam loses some of his attributes, like patience and nurturing which go to Eve. What Adam has left, things like aggression and a protecting nature are intensified, hence the differences between Men and Women. Side Note: I was privileged to read (have translated for me) a very old bible and there was a line that caught my attention: 'and Adam did awake and looked about, feeling a deep loneliness, and God did appear and asked of Adam "Why are you so sad?" and Adam said he was alone... So God searched the world over and could find Adam no wife suitable' How did Adam know what loneliness is unless he experienced companionship through Lilith? And if he was the only man why did God search for someone to be with him? Because of the bond that now exists between Adam and Eve, God's plan comes into play. He has told Adam not to eat of the Tree of Knowledge, but not Eve, who is now tempted by, possibly, Lilith appearing as a scaled humanoid (Afterwards God damns this being to live legless and to slither on it's belly and Lilith is often portrayed as having a snakes body) Eve convinces Adam to eat the fruit, Adam, who was told not to commit the Original Sin, not Eve, who was not told not to eat the fruit but only knew it as something Adam told her not to do. While there is some debate as what the Knowledge was, in essence it took away Adams god-power and gave him the knowledge of being mortal. When Cain was banished he joined the 'godlings' and married into them, introducing mortality, and lack of power into their bloodline. God was trying to 'weed' out the godliness from the race. This brings up all the long list of 'begats' which shows a direct lineage from Adam to Noah, representing mortality. Think of this as a breeding program to water down the god powers and gives way for the giants/sons of Angels, the Nephilim as being possibly the original people. By wiping out the world by way of the Flood God is reducing Man to his mortal state. I might offer that like most breeding programs there are always throwbacks, if you breed all white horses you will see some are born as roan or bay, and this explains the possibility of some having ESP or the such to some degree.
You'd have to find translations for about 500 sacred ancient Hebrew and Aramaic texts to begin to really explore the answer to that question, and you would have to study them, and rip them apart, letter by letter, and word by word. You'd need to be fluent in those languages, too, because a lot of the translations are lousy.
@Uviy Moou not really. There are many interpretations, but the far most common one is her refusing to be with Adam. Wanting to be equally respected and not subjugated to him. It's a perfect allegory for ancient men warning women to be good little baby makers to burn in hell for eternity. And none of it is surprising because that's what religion is and always had been. Power and manipulation.
@Vodoo Child can't quite tell if you're sarcastic. But nonetheless, I find her fascinating and the symbolism in general, mythological, religious or ideological let alone philosohpical is just greatly interesting. Alas. Good day to you :)
@Vodoo Child Down, kiddo. The adults are discussing heavy topics here. If you can't keep track of the conversation and get mad it's best not to try. Edit: And good day to you :)
@@jamessalvatore7054 I appreciate and agree with your analysis. As would any feminist I know. The key word in your statement was “equally”. That’s all true feminism is: no more, no less. The world doesn’t need to shut women up; it should ask itself why so many men (and governments) don’t want women to be on the same level as men are. They don’t want to give up that legal and societal justification of their privilege. But facing that would shatter their self-image as a “good guy”. A truly decent man. That’s a harsh truth many would rather not face. It’s easier to be a man. And it shouldn’t be. We are ALL humans. Have a lovely day. 🤗
Two doms do work in the bedroom tho. Its actually the best sex ever. Its just some beta males are afraid to have anything challege their masculinity. Or dont know what to do with it.
@Ashton Ryker After long meditation and careful deliberation I have come to realize that if god wanted us to have a bible, he would have written it in our brains. We would be born with the knowledge. I feel the possibility of a god or even multiple gods is high, but they will not be in any book written by man. Also, the sound of harpies screeching "fuck off" at the mildest provocation is pathetic.
@@FeralLogic Hi, I am from India. The most religious country on the planet. I want to give you one advise. You should read holy books in a scientific way because all holy books written thousands years ago and their writing very different. In old times, they personify natural forces. Story of Lilith is biological. Examine this story as biological point of view. It says Lilith have sex with men in their dreams, so it definitely related to biology. You should read all religious books from Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism and more importantly read holy books of ''Dera Sacha Sauda'' North Indian Saint name - Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan (Saint MSG). For English holy books you should download app name - ''MSG Shabad-Vani''. And one thing, All religion are one they contain same knowledge. YOU can`t understand one religion if you haven`t read about other religion. Because they all connected. Most importantly read in scientific point of view, then you can understand better. All religious text are fill with scientific knowledge. We only have to decode them in today`s language. Holy books contains knowledge of biology, thermodynamics, physics, chemistry, spirituality, quantum mechanics, geology, astronomy, social life and many more. So get it on.
Revelation 22:18-19 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
I love when people say that this is not in the Bible. However they fail to research and find out that the Bible has been rewritten to accommodate Kings and cultures. 🙄
That's maybe the real reason why he ate the fruit didn't want her to leave him like lililth did so he got too submissive and should've been Assertive Blessings 👐🏿✊🏿
Well, this kind of actually makes SOME sense. God makes them both (Adam and Lilith). She gets pissed because "Muh Feminism". God says no way babe. She takes off. Adam (I imagine) must be like WTF! God sees Adam all kinds of upset. He puts Adam to sleep and makes a woman who is more of a Republican (Gun Totter, no push over, but will make the SANDMICHES). Everything is fine, until Adam's Ex shows up and starts having "Girl Talk" with Eve. A couple of glasses of apple wine later and Eve is talking Adam into SOME kind of Weirdness. And BINGO, BANGO, BOINGO,... Beat your feet out of the Garden of Eden and into the SLAVE LIFE!! So Satan is a Woman. Makes MUCH more sense to me now. (lol) I guess it is possible.

OMG WHILE IM SCROLLING DOWN FOR COMMENTS AND LISTENING TO THE VIDEO THEN YOUR COMMENT APPEARES IM EXACTLY WHEN THE VIDEO SAID ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE COMMENTED. WHAT A FKING COINCIDENCE !
I remember being a small child and talking to God. Knowone told me anything about him, I knew he was in control and he was the one who was going to know if I did wrong. I didn't need a bible to tell me that I was loved and I remember my friends parents took them to bible school and I was so excited that they wanted me to go. When I heard some stories I was thinking that they were lieing about God. Because he was not what they were talking about. I still have the same feeling about things. God loves me and you. He is probably annoyed that you are not trying to talk with him about your questions about the bible. How silly would it be if he only spoke to people back in the day and never did again. It is a little confusing for me sometimes, to know is it God or my consciousness, but when it is something really important and huge thing I need to hear, I know when its God somehow I just know. Its important to build a relationship with him. Its important to share with people your experiences with him. Not just what is read that you are not sure of. The nonbeliever has this bunch of questions and try to talk about contradictions in the bible. That is really important to me because I understand what they are saying but that has not that much to do with true faith in God. God is love, strength, courage, discipline, motivation. And so on you all should and probably do already know that. I love to learn about bible studies I truly hope that some of it is true. I think the things that are left out through history is a shame, I research this stuff alot looking for something else about this situation to help me understand what is real. Always same thing God is love. I'm sorry to be so long winded.
Agreed honestly although i must say this since a lot of nonbelievers say if god is love why did he bring soo many bad things to everyone although god is love in the bible says i cant make it into words since English isnt my mother language god says he punishes people who he loves thats the best way that i can describe it

God bless you. “He’s probably annoyed that you are not trying to talk with him about your questions about the bible” hit me like a ton of bricks. I was raised super Christian but as I’ve grown things haven’t made sense to me at all, the condemnation of LGBTQ+, the sanctioning of slavery, racism and misogyny in the bible, if God’s omnipresent then why didn’t he see the snake and future of humanity coming? Wtf are we put on this earth with no training, just an edited book controlled by religious leaders and written only by men? If you’re so forgiving how can you curse entire bloodlines and a whole gender? And it’s lead to a lot of questions, resentments and fear to ask God because s/he’s presented as punitive, petty, judgemental and stubborn. But I’m ok with saying I don’t understand anything about him, the bible or this world but I know in my soul s/he exists and I can actually ask without fear. Obvs to nonbelievers this sounds like BS and that’s fine to each their own but I just thought I’d say that part of your comment sparked a prayer that’s been long overdue.
I took a picture of a millisecond as a light was shooting into the sky. Crazy that nobody can tell me what it means but right after I automatically felt heartwarming and delight. He has sent me signs but only after I was willing to accept any signs. Wish he would have shown me sooner but I guess if you're a nonbeliever youd create reasons on why it isn't real. :/
1701spacecadet Lilith has Freedom but Adam tried to take that away. So Eve was born/created as a Slave for tiny dicked coward Adam Eve was probably also super naive & underage I’d guess. Or stupidly young compared to the inferior Adam.
Why do you love evil? even if you try to portray yourself to Lillith or her empowerment of a woman and compare yourself with her characteristics, you can't be nothing like her because you come from the seed of Adam and Eve, thenceforth, God has made a specific role for you, he is the author of our beginning and the end of our story I wouldn't love any of these stories but seriously learn from them.
@@dennissalinas704 Being interested in something evil isn't necessarily idolizing it, okay? It could mean you want to better understand it, so you can protect yourself against it. Or better understand our own nature, and where our shortcomings are. It's arrogant and ignorant to claim to know why someone feels or does something. There are a million different reasons someone could be interested in a thing. You just assumed it was idolization. And it might be, but you don't know that. So don't sit on your high horse and judge others for motivations that YOU assumed they had.

@@dennissalinas704 And what I'm saying, is that, that is irrelevant, because she said she loves the "STORIES" about lillith. She never said she liked lillith herself at all. What you need to do is calm down and stop making assumptions about people.
Lilith didn't tempt Eve. It was Samael that tempted her. Also it should be noted that Lucifer and Samael were originally two separate Angels. Lucifer leading a rebellion and getting cast down, Samael being a trusted angel that was ordered to tempt Adam and Eve and was the one that God sent to collect Job's soul.
She also wanted to kill childrens after birth or are you one of those american virginians who are for after birth abortion. But now serious the world was hard men are biologicaly stronger so is a fairytale who tell womans that even is you a equal to mans it will end worst for you then (look at suicides rates where man are more represented, i am sure no woman wants to go there).
Men suffer in society ways more than men how about you look k at a statistical fact? Oh wait your brain canning handle what’s directly fed to you through the media
Nah Lilith was 100% from the Bible I swear bro and not at all mentioned from apocrypha works. This is what also caused issues with Hosea, Gomer didnt like the position.
Ben Sira is far from first source about Lilith. Alphabet was written between 7th and 10th century. But Lilith is refereed in Death sea scrolls and On incantation bowls made to "banish Lilith" which are made during the 3rd century and even earlier. There are many indications of Lilith being Part of Judaism since the beginning and to almost all of the Rabbis her exsistance is canonical part of Religion.
Messed up how the made her an evil demon. She just wanted to be treated equally with respect. She wanted her dominancy just like Adam did. They could have figured a way to balance that shit out. 😄 DAMN IT ADAM!!!
Likewise, Zeus consumed his first wife Metis (wisdom) and then years later after developing a headache, Hephaestus smashed the Cloud Gatherer's head open and out came a fully grown Athena, the re-birth of Wisdom (the ideal). Not only do the great myths recur through time, place and peoples, they also tell of how the gods and goddesses (the ideal) influences the material (dynamic) reality.
I once read that Almighty God himself had a wife and cast her to Hell because of a disagreement involving how to raise humans on Earth. I would like to learn more about that. Apparently it's written somewhere in the Hebrew Bible. In any case FYI women out there. "The Bible" held back women's rights for thousands of years not men.
Who wrote the bible? Seems a lot of disgruntled old guys, brains frazzled from too long in the sun and smarting under the yoke of other, older religions, wherein women played an equal, if not superior role, decided to turn the tables. They made the rules outwith the ten commandments that governed society from then onwards. The tablets were given, supposedly physical proof of God's wishes. All the rest of the bumph was written by...drumroll...men. I'm surprised they didn't blame that other convenient, imaginary entity, the devil for making them write all those rules and regulations. Lmao.
There are legends that Adam had a wife before Eve who was named Lilith, but this is not found in the Bible. The legends vary significantly, but they all essentially agree that Lilith left Adam because she did not want to submit to him. According to the legends, Lilith was an evil, wicked woman who committed adultery with Satan and produced a race of evil creatures. None of this is true. There is no biblical basis whatsoever for these concepts. There is no one in the Bible named Lilith. The passage most often pointed to as evidence for Lilith is Isaiah 34:14, which in the NRSV reads, "there too Lilith shall repose." This is a poor translation. Every other major translation of the Bible reads something to the effect of "night creature" or "screech owl." Even if "demon monster named Lilith" was the proper translation of the Hebrew word, Adam is nowhere even hinted at in this passage or its context. Whatever the Lilith was, it is not given any connection whatsoever to Adam or Creation. Another commonly used support for Lilith is the differing Creation accounts in Genesis chapters 1-2. Some claim that the woman in Genesis 1 was Lilith, with the woman in Genesis 2 being Eve. This is completely ludicrous. Rather, Genesis chapter 2 is a "closer look" at the creation of Adam and Eve as recorded in Genesis chapter 1. The Bible specifically says that Adam and Eve were the first human beings ever created (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:18-25). This "Lilith" myth is popular in some radical feminist movements because Lilith is an example of a woman refusing to submit to male headship. While there are myths outside of the Word of God regarding Lilith, her complete absence from Scripture demonstrates that she is nothing more than a myth.
I'm a HUGE mythology fanboy and Really like the stories that crop up around the concept of Lilith. HOWEVER ... I've also studied scripture and can clear up a little confusion regarding Genesis and the creation story. Chapter 1 is a bit of a summary chapter that says what's about to happen. God creates Heaven and Earth and all the animals and man and woman. Then, in chapter 2, the first 3 verses summarize again that God created Heaven and Earth and all the animals and man and woman. The key is the 4th verse, which reads: These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created. Then, starting in verse 5, the creation story starts over from scratch, but in much greater detail. Basically, everything up to Ch2V4 is a "this is what happened", and everything after Ch2V4 is a "...and this is how God did it." So before Ch2V4 it tells us that God created man and woman, then after Ch2V4 it tells us that he did it by first creating man from dust, then pulling a rib from his side to make woman. It's sort of like a story that reads like this: "Bob built a house. He laid a foundation, built some walls, then capped it with a roof." In the story it says that Bob built a house, then it goes on to say he does a bunch of stuff that amounts to building a house. But he didn't build two houses. He just built the one. First, we say he did it, then we say how he does it.
Can you please tell me what the original bible is. The one that hasn't been changed or at least the least changed to fit our culture nowadays? Is it the Quran? Im not religious, but much like mythology, I want to read the bible as another piece of literary work. Your help would be much appreciated!
@@annettebonteri3234 You can start with the Torah (first five books of the old testament). Many stories on the Torah are shared among Jews, Christians and Muslims; including the creation story, Noah's ark, Moses, and many more iconic tales.
Yeaowah the original "Bible" is the original language before it was translated into English. It's not been changed rather it's been translated so to really understand it, it's good to look up certain words and phrases in the context of the original language. Just like translating from Spanish to English or Chinese to English. In some instances certain words were translated to the closest word with the most similar meaning in the other languages because an exact match not available. So understanding context and looking up how the word is used and what it means in the original language is best. The Bible is actually a collection of books and history that was added to over years... Not the work of one man. The books were sacred and written in scrolls at that time. Over hundreds of years more history was recorded on more scrolls by historians and prophets and those scrolls were added as a historical record in addition to, not changing the original scrolls. There is a period of approximately 400 years between the last book /scroll of the Old Testament and the writing of the New Testament. The New Testament being the records of Jesus Christ. Look up the Dead Sea scrolls... These original scrolls are in the original language and thousands of years old. They are almost word for word the same as we have today. The original languages the Bible was written in are Aramaic, Hebrew, and Greek. I can go on... But that's the gist of it. And I agree that the first chapter of Genesis is an overview and not a separate story. The retelling is just going more in detail, not a different story. I grew up with a Jewish pastor (he converted to Christianity in college after studying both religions) and that was how he taught it as well.
@@annettebonteri3234 Tina Gilley is absolutely right! I would recommend picking up a copy of the King James Version of the Bible that is published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has a lot of really excellent foot notes as far as word translation, context, etc. It has foot note that will even direct you to other scriptures to further clarify concepts. It has a great dictionary, topical guide, and maps the illustrate various routes referenced as well. It's also available in a vast number of languages.
It's been said that the word "rib" was an incorrect translation: it appears that the real translation was "half" . So it basically said that God genetically engineer a Woman by taking half of Adam's chromosomes ( X ).
I'd like to think it's like the ancient Greek story of love, how everyone is born whole, but one day God split the people in half and people must search for "their other half".
You forget there is a lot of symbolism in the Bible. It is hard to translate it sometimes. Then you have the fact that people back then did not know about chromosomes, so God had to explain it in simple terms. I still say it was a rib, but hey, I am a traditionalist.
I have to inform you all about the genetics...cromosom y was developed from cromosom x...the scientist descovered this in a laboratory...so? What about that? Conclusion: matriarhat...that means that cromosom x is the first gender that is developing in the womb, after that is decided the gender of the beby depending on the genetical information that is transported ...etc..and regarding the Lilith aspect: she was the first companion of Adam, and she was strong, Adam didnt like it and he begins to developing new species by having sex with the animals, Lilith didnt bear it anymore, they had also the problem with whome to stay on top and she left him. Adam in his egotistic mind said to God to create a new version of Lilith, but this time more stupid...si God made Eve...

Lilith is the serpent of Eden. She was not raised to be Adam's wife. She Lilith the snake or leg dragon was out of the garden, but you can enter. She wanted her to eat from the garden delights that Adam and Eve had at her disposal.

The fuck are you smoking? you do realize that Lilith wanted total control in the relationship right? and if the rumors are true, had the same strength as Adam making even more difficult to know who wears the pants in the relationship. Slick Rick Obviously - me, meckleboy andTaChaNkA are all very confused after watching this channel. And now even you, Sliick Riick, seem quite confused! Did Lilith arrive on a time machine? WTH?
have you learned that the modern woman has relegated herself back to the level of value of a medieval bedwench? This is what happens when women choose their own paths. they destroy everything until they expire of their looks, and then suck up resources as they crumble further. they dont even do anything useful in the meantime like dig a few ditches or build a bridge or something. they used to have purpose and values, but now they have dropped them like hot garbage.
One of friends also researched Lilith. She also said that Lilith never ate from the forbidden fruit so she remained immortal and she is still walking among us. Kind of interesting to think what men was before the fall
So....er.... wouldn't Lilith be absent of the knowledge of good and evil? Which makes everything about her ridiculous. Or did she grab an apple of the way out of the garden? .
Which is exactly what god preferred, now you are trying to find fault with her for obeying god isn't it. god knows everything, everything is part of a plan, Lilith is part of god's plan, don't question god's plan, you don't know any better. remember he does not prefer you to know good and evil, or seek knowledge or reason. he was pleased with Abel, one of the very few people he was ever pleased with. Just keep lambs and offer the fat portions, you will be fine, don't do other things.
You mean there are 3 possible stories. Certainly many more than that. All somewhat less than true. The Lilith story is an example of how men fail to understand women and their ways. Thus demonizing them. Of course nobody could have foreseen what is happening now. The world is far more complicated.
Mr Raleigh how about how deceitful or unloyal a man can be? These characteristics are seen in both men and women. It’s less about what’s between your legs and more about how you were taught to honor and love another person, what that looks like. And unfortunately that is a skewed image for many men and women. But that does not make either gender more evil than the other. Hurt people hurt people.
I believe that Lilith was jealous of Adam and eve because of their relationship, due to that she wanted revenge by tricking eve to eat the fruit then got Adam to eat it too so they could get punished by god, even though Lilith succeeded but it got backfire. The story is basically represents human nature of men and women and relationship, cane and abel represents what happens when u have siblings.
no, i think moreso she was angry. she HAD that relationship and could have kept it, but she was angered and left. seeing that god made a subservient woman in her place was probably even more infuriating, so she tried to destroy them.

Which translation to which you are referring? Isaiah 34:14 - The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and for herself a place of rest. As a matter of fact considering verse 14 doesn't even start the paragraph to what is being explained to try and pull a specific verse out of the Bible would make for a great deal of confusion to whoever is hearing it do to the fact there is nothing to base it on. In chapter 34 it explains the apocalyptic scene taking place in Zion in verse 8 - 17 starting with the downfall of Zion then to explain how the wild beasts including Unicorns, Satyr's, screeching owl, and the great owl are all trying to find rest and eventually do find rest. (I ask for which translation for further research for myself.)

It would be impossible for Lilith to be the one in the Garden of Eden for Lucifer beguiled Eve slept with her and created the second seed line there was Adams and Satan's. That's what Genesis talks about the two seed lines. Also in Daniel it's a talks about in the statue and how the two seed lines in the feet of the statue would try to mingle but they wouldn't cleave one to another. Remember the one seed line but bruise to head and the other the heel.
The two feet of the statue have nothing to do with it. It is simply the Roman Empire divided into two parts. Just like the other parts of the statues refer to the great other empires in history. Nothing to do with what you tell.
I don't know about seed lines of any kind, but the legs of the statue are indeed the separated roman empire as far as I know too. That vision is about the (back then) upcoming empires of the world. As @ndong said.

About Isaiah 34 14, this the sole biblical occurrence of the Hebrew word “ lilit”. It drives from the feminine Akkadian word “lilitu”, which itself derives from Sumerian “lil” meaning wind. So in the literature this word likely refers to some wind or storm demon. However from a scholarly point of view it is possible he is talking about a spirit, but it is impossible to say for sure due to lilit not acting like other demons from Mesopotamia. ( NKJV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible) About Genesis 1 and 2. It was a common Hebrew writing practice to place a summary at the beginning of one’s work, there for chapter 1 is a quick summary and chapter 2 has more detail. Same account told twice. Lilith is not a biblical story, but rather a myth that tries to biblically justify itself.
Well, that may be true, but in hermeneutics we have to interpret a word not just by its origins, but the textual and cultural context. The Hebrews were familiar with the story of Lilith. When Isaiah mentions Lilith, it would be unlikely that the audience would have said "Oh maybe he's talking about a Mesopotamian wind demon" or some such thing. They would have known exactly what Isaiah was talking about. In addition, in the passage it refers to finding "herself" a resting place. Granted Hebrew words often indicate gender, but it seems the passage is refering to a specific person.
Okay, first question; what children, what women? If she and Adam were the first two people on Earth then who in the hell was she going to kill? Second question: Why would the Angels be okay with this deal?
Right!! I was like "children?" When she left, Adam was all alone and I'm pretty sure that it took a while before eve came around cause Adam was given the responsibility to name each animal before God was like nah this ain't it he needs another woman so idk where she wanted to get kids to kill and also they found her by the red sea which means they chased after her not so long after she left Adam meaning she was kinda powerless I think and the Angel's should have just "dragged" her back but to make a deal like that... fucked and also the angel says that they would also accept if they kill her demon kids a day.... bruh where she get a man from to give her soooo many kids that they had to die day by day at the time the deal was made
Mr. Alexander more than that, if humanity started with just two people, who did their children mate with to have more children? Why is Adam the only person on earth to not be birthed from a woman? Even Jesus was given birth to.
Bible says they were the first two people created...not exactly the ONLY people created. But maybe considering that Adam and Lilith were the only people able to live in Eden the people outside of eden could’ve been considered as their children by God....maybe
Eve was Adam's first wife cause yeah first Adam was created, but then started to become lonely so God gave him a partner, and also Adam is the one who ate the forbidden fruit first then invited Eve to try it
Angels have done many questionable things, like destroying entire cities, children included. Perhaps human deaths are a simple matter to them, and lives can be traded like currency?
To me it seems that Lilith and Adam were created for one another. Eve was the Forbidden Fruit if you ask me because when she showed up, that’s when shit hit the fan. Adam was good living in the Garden of Eden alone as well as with Lilith, but here comes Eve and their innocence is gone, they’re banished from the Garden, nudity is horrendous, they have sons who murder, incest becomes a thing (their children had children and Eve was the only woman around) and sin hails in. Lilith is even part of our astrological charts so she definitely serves an important role in our lives.
The book of Enoch is also not in the Bible. Yet Enoch is referenced multiple times in it. The book of Enoch is holy scripture, Enoch was the first prophet.
Christianity buries all other religions in its wake. There were religions before it. But man turned a blind eye as the church buried it all from our view. Now we are left with the remnants of an old broken world. Atop which the christian church places itself.
Lilith means "goddess" in proto-Hebrew, while Lil was god. By the time Pentateuch was compiled, El was god and Elath was goddess, but the older pronounciation stuck around for the demonized Lilith.

Wait, how does Lilith have the consciousness that she can leave Eden before consuming the forbidden fruit? Like, Eden was Adam and Eve's entire world up until they ate the fruit.
Historical Artistic depictions of the Legged "Serpent" tempting Eve, depict the Serpent as being Female. The Kabbalah "Tree of Life" is in reality the "Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil" that God prohibited Mankind from Eating its Fruit - its Produce. Eve was Tempted to Eat the Fruit by the Serpent possessed by Satan (Satan & Demons need Flesh to Operate at FULL Calacity on Earth) and Satan tricked her by saying "You will be like the gods" - meaning the Fallen Angels who were worshiped as gods in Ancient Civilizations: NOT the Living God & the Righteous Angel's who are His servants. This prohibited "Tree of Knowledge" became an object or Idol of Worship by the Ancients, known in the Bible & by ancient Israel as "Asteroth Poles" - this is the Religion that King Solomon abandoned God for, and worshiped Asteroth instead. Asteroth-Ishtar is a Female Diety of the Ancients, known as the "Queen of Heaven" & Talmud Jews, who are NOT Torah Jews, call the Holy Spirit of God "Shakinah" and say God's Spirit is Female. It's the Talmud Jews who also practice Kabbalah, which was an ancient system of Sorcery taught to them in Babylon, where the Talmud was written. When the exiled Jews all joined up again as a Modern Community, the Talmud Jews convinced the Torah Jews that the Talmud was an additional Holy Book, but in reality, it's just Babylonian Sorcery. Most of the Jews living in Israel are Talmud Jews, not Torah Jews. Netanyahu seeks to pass Talmud Laws as the National Laws, what is known as the Neohide Laws. And they are very Brutal toward ALL non-bloodline Jews, even converts are frowned upon. A very dangerous system. Perhaps Lilith is another name for the Female Serpent who Tempted Eve, and who became known as Ishtar & the "Queen of Heaven" or what the Talmud Jews call "Shakinah" as the Female aspect of God. If Satan was ONCE named Lucifer and was an "Angel of Light" seated in the Highest Ranks of God's Angel Armies before he fell in the rebellion & took a bunch of Defecting Angels with him, why couldnt Lilith-Ishtar-Shakinah be among those Defected Angels? Especially when you consider Ancient Civilizations worshipped Ishtar as a god & Queen of Heaven, this is also Satan's most unquenchable desire - to be worshiped by Mankind as their only god, if a Female could help him accomplish that goal I can't see why Satan would pass up that opportunity...
@@bullterror5 These are a lot of claims. (1) What makes the Tree of Life wrong? Explain in detail. Can you? (2) Why is there only a "male" god? It is said, humans were made in OUR image. So it is female and male. (3) Why is it, that also the "holy spirit" as in Adi Shakti, is female in Hinduism, while the creator god is male? In all religions, there was a female and a male part. Female forces and male forces. To claim female forces as evil per definition is patriachic. You made a lot of connections, that are loose and without any true insight. Just claims. By the way.

WildRhov They also removed 1 and 2 Maccabees, Tobit, Wisdom, Ecclesiastes, and many other books.

Lilith was the first woman but how was a white woman?

Same one they are one in the same.
Samael gets a bad rep, he's a cool guy once you get past the covered in eyes thing

They will never tell you the truth.
Neanderthals
Excellent Question
So basically she was the first feminist.......... Ok
@Uviy Moou not really. There are many interpretations, but the far most common one is her refusing to be with Adam. Wanting to be equally respected and not subjugated to him.
It's a perfect allegory for ancient men warning women to be good little baby makers to burn in hell for eternity.

This is what happens when you swipe right on tinder and have nothing in common.

"And like most women in my life, Lilith packed her stuff and flew away." was the funniest shit i have ever heard
While there are
myths outside of the Word of God regarding Lilith, her complete absence from Scripture demonstrates that she is nothing more than a myth.
very well said. true words without any manipulation. Keeping it simple as per the bible and nothing else. 👍

Basically, everything up to Ch2V4 is a "this is what happened", and everything after Ch2V4 is a "...and this is how God did it."
So before Ch2V4 it tells us that God created man and woman, then after Ch2V4 it tells us that he did it by first creating man from dust, then pulling a rib from his side to make woman.
It's sort of like a story that reads like this: "Bob built a house. He laid a foundation, built some walls, then capped it with a roof."
In the story it says that Bob built a house, then it goes on to say he does a bunch of stuff that amounts to building a house. But he didn't build two houses. He just built the one. First, we say he did it, then we say how he does it.
The story of Lilith was also found in a book full of other satirical stories.
@@vinny9868 That's the romantic explanation.
Still acceptable and more accurate than "rib", imho.

( NKJV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible)
About Genesis 1 and 2. It was a common Hebrew writing practice to place a summary at the beginning of one’s work, there for chapter 1 is a quick summary and chapter 2 has more detail. Same account told twice.
Lilith is not a biblical story, but rather a myth that tries to biblically justify itself.
Finally a comment worth noting.. If only I could like your comment a million times.

Lilith is yet another Echo of earlier believes from hunter gathering days. Epos of Gilgamesh has her mentioned too,so do Egyptian scrolls.
Karol Takisobie - Egyptian was during all this if you read the book of Enoch. Christians AND scientists BOTH have our dating of the planet wrong.
In case of Gilgamesh she was presented as Ishtar and her story was far different from this one
By the way.
