Dear friends! Thanks for clicking on the thumbnail and watching. To those of you who are asking for a link: If you go to my website bull-hansen.com/gear-i-use-in-my-videos/ you will find a link to this backpack there.
Keep coming back to this pack, I purchased a Savotta Jääkäri M with side pockets which has worked well for me. I need to carry two chairs (Helinox zero) one for myself and one for wife, due to arthritis She can’t carry much anymore but an alternative would be to have this and carry one chair although this setup would be about 500 grams heavier. This bag would also be good for commuting for those times when you can’t get a seat on the train or tube. I think this is a great looking pack as well.
I saw a Nitehawk swivelseat bucket a while back and thought of building a pack around it, when at camp you can put a binliner in and use as a toilet as well...
I have used one of these for years (with the side pockets)...they are awesome for ice-fishing, deer hunting, even for a picnic! Obviously, it's not designed for extended backpacking or overnight adventures, but it is awesome for short forays where a "chair" comes in handy.
You could easily do a two-night hike in the warmer (but not summer) months with it, but only if your hike is NOT in excess of 10km, as this bag is really not designed for comfort over longer distances...
just came across your channel today and watched this review cos I bought my Singi Stubben about 3 years ago. It's a well made piece of kit and that inbuilt chair is a real boon. I subsequently bought the side pockets which are great for storing water bottle, cup, fuel bottle and various other bits and bobs to make it even more useful on those day hikes. Overall very pleased with it as it suits my purpose to perfection. Have also subscribed to your channel. ATVB from a Brit expat now living in a very hot and wet Malaysia
I’ve got this - use it for ‘tabbing’, hiking, bushcraft. I got injured over the summer doing a short hike and was able to sit and rest until help came -- sounds silly, but that’s invaluable. I carry quite a lot of kit in the sack and with side pockets, it does the job. For longer hikes and camps I’d get the Kajka. Great video as always!!
It must be sturdy as I thought you were standing at the beginning not sitting, looks very nice quality and what a great idea turning a backpack into a seat. Thank you for sharing with us.
Very informative. Fjallraven does make excellent quality products, especially their tents! I know several people who use them and love them!! Good posting, thank you!
Went out and bought one (after seeing walking with it),together with the side packs.Your right ,not cheap but it looks so good and can see this lasting a while.I love it,cant do anything more than a day walk so perfect for me.
Wow, this looks incredible. The fact that you have a Firebox goes to show how much you care about quality and universality. I have literally all of the Firebox Stove products except for the attaching truck table and the octagon freestyle setup. I think it's my absolute favorite end of the world product product. The backpack looks well engineered and like you said, perfect for day/2 pack. I bought a lightweight folding chair, it's bigger than advertised. Lugging the chair around just isn't feasible. I know we can bring stuff out to Bush craft a simple tripod chair but this backpack makes everything so convenient, and it looks SO nice... Thanks for sharing, I'm going to keep an eye on this. I recently just bought a 70L pack but I do need a day pack.
That is wonderful, Derek. What I like most about this backpack is that I can now sit down everywhere, haha. And as all Fjällräven products, it looks great, feels great and it is high quality. Much like the Fireboxes, I would say! They are also top notch quality.
I had a similar bag for years until someone else clearly needed it more than I and, just stole it.. It was/is a perfect bag in which one can almost live 😊
@@BjornOutdoors Thanks Bjorn and yes they are... A bag (and what was in it) however, is relatively easy to replace.. What present day's western thieves steal and destroy, is sadly very often, not possible to replace ever.. but, that's a different story for another debate. Have a good Sunday... The sun just arrived in Dublin and, it's time to get out and about.. Happy hiking in Norway 🌞.
If they made a size bigger would totally get. I have an 80L mystery ranch pack now for me and my rescue pomeranians. Works great for long distance travel. Fits dog food, their snowsuits, boots, cooling coats, tarps, hatchet, and basic survival gear.
Would safely hold the cameras and equipment. Bear spray, some medical supplies and a large PVC pipe just for those occasions. The Fjällräven Singi Stubben is a very good rucksack for a day outing in the wilderness. Thanks, Bjorn for this overview.
God morgen Bjørn I so love your clips. As usual your English is brilliant but a chair always has a back so this would be called a stool or as some have said a seat.
This backpack has sense only for huners who don't go too far from home or wood cabin. For bushcrafter who want to go more than 5 km its bad choice because of weigt/capacity ratio and lack of hipbelt
Cleggs and Horse Flies are the biting bastards here in North Yorkshire, they'll eat you alive if you let them. Especially nasty if any of them get inside your clothes. Nice backpack 👍🏻
I do not see why so many people spend big bucks on backpacks when they can buy high quality surplus US military on the cheap. There are different sizes up to a monstrous capable of holding 80-100 #'s of gear down to fanny packs or three days. They come as a system as well where you can add pon such as water bladder etc. Tough canvas water snow proof strong as hell closures, with connectors for additional small object packets. Good frames wide belts. large pack you can skin and bone out deer or bear and bag holds it easily. all bags have accessory packing capabilities even small Spec Ops 3 piece sleeping bags + tent, small stove eating utensils and lots of room for food, batteries light fire stuff.even a good quality collapsible fishing b pole and reel with baits or lures. extra ammo , sling cot tarps.
These Things are the living hell. Very, very aggressive and persistent, you can't scare them away and once it's under your clothes it is too late. You can't kill them easily, almost impossible with bare hands. Their bites do not heal well, can leave scares and possible diseases.

I will have to inspect this daypack in person tomorrow 😅

Just adore Fjallraven products, they are meant to last for life, so well worth the extra money. Skal to the fall equinox!

Thanks for an excellent review. Looks like a great pack and I learnt how to say Fjällräven properly. 👍
I think this backpack is suited best for fishing 🤠👍 Carry your stuff and get the extra chair within. Nice. 🤠✌️👋🇱🇹
Hey Bjorn! Nice 👍, Have a great one friend!♥️👍

Very Nice video bjorn. Its always relaxing to watch your outdoors videos

Had one for a few years - great for day hikes as you say!

In Oregon, we call that a 'sternum' strap... because it straps across the sternum.
Nice pack. I like the built in seat.
I have this pack, and is a wonderful hunting bag! The orange top cover which you did not show is an excellent feature for this.
Very informative. Fjallraven does make excellent quality products, especially their tents! I know several people who use them and love them!! Good posting, thank you!
Yes, the tents are also very good, especially for winter, I would say. Not many tents will do the job during a snow storm. They will.
Great review. Thanks. What is that jacket you are wearing?

Enjoy our fall equinox Bjorn! How will you celebrate?

I like the Swedish military backpacks by Haglöfs. I mostly use the medical backpack.
I like the look of that pack. It would do well for fishing gear and walk in access locations. Possibly strapped to a bicycle rack.
long time whatcher now subscriber. best greetings from germany
Very interesting backpack. And sometimes one just needs to sit down on something more comfy than a log
That's interesting. A titanium frame would lighten it right up, but would also make it prohibitively even more expensive.
I ended up getting the Singi 20. Since I’ve watched this video.
Wow Excellent backpack, that's great to be able to have a chair at the ready. Also good price for those Ferro rods always love finding sales myself👍
It was actually the fatwood that was for sale. So I fitted the fatwood to the ferrorod to make a handle.
@@BjornOutdoors Ohh I see. very efficient, some spare fatwood as the handle Incase you need it👍😃
If you add Greenland wax to it, it makes it fully weatherproof and makes it last longer
I had a similar bag for years until someone else clearly needed it more than I and, just stole it..

I am sorry to hear that! Thieves are the worst.

Can you attach a hip belt to this one?

I also like mystery ranch because the entire pack comes apart if you need it to. You can replace one piece at a time if it rips or something breaks
where can one buy that backpack?

@@BjornOutdoors thx man
Lovely looking day sack there Bjorn. You get what you pay for and it looks like it'll last for years.

Try some Savotta or Sasta or any products from finland, you can never go wrong with them.
Could be paired with a webbing belt and pouches to carry more kit
Awesome
Ill need one King Bjorn.

Great backpack brother and only weighs 4.63 pounds!

omg its like 140 euro in Denmark!
I didn't know this existed
Hey Bjorn, have you done a video on how you make your coffee? I’m really interested how you deal with the grinds and what you add. Thanks!!

Well, luckily we are still allowed to spend money on what we want to.
BBH, I have found you really cannot put a price on good gear that makes you happy to go Outdoors!
I would take the cinnamon bun over bacon any day.😋
If I could afford it I would wear Fjällräven from head to toe.
I live out of one permanently... But I sleep in Hotels.
What the heck happened to the 100’s of thousands subs you had!!? Im so sorry…we’re under a ttack!
This is another channel, my friend!
To each his own.
Looks nice.
I think Fjall is overrated tho.
Overpriced too.
So many backpacks out there.
But hey, it's your money :-)
but 200$ mora is not expensive
That nasty fly looks like a tick hybrid! Yuck!
