I was afraid you all stopped the webcast! Happy to see a new one! Speaking of Nancy do you all plan on having her? Also when is deans book out since I have read all the other books from cast and last question who was the favorite guest actors you worked with ?
Eddie Quillan, I remember watching Mutiny on the Bounty back in the 70's, loved his character, and then realizing decades later he was on LHOTP, what a treat, I was just flabbergasted that was Ellison from Mutiny on the Bounty!!
This was a great podcast! Thanks again! I am 55 so just a few years younger than Melissa Gilbert/Busfield. My other favorite series was thirtysomething in which I have the DVD's and watching again since it aired.
i love this podcast! I am disabled and homebound so i cant get out to go to any of the 50th anniversary events. I am watching what i can about the events on TH-cam. My question is about Linwood Boomer. I know he was at the event in Simi Valley but there are no clips of his panel interview or anything i can find on him about his time with LHOP. Why is that? And can you get him on the show?
I am team Manly/Dean but would love to listen to Linwood, so thank you for that! Living in Sweden makes me quite far removed as well from all of this amazing action going on, would have LOVED to be there. This podcast is the best ever and is doing what LHOP once did - never want this to end! ❤
When little house ended and the town blown up, I thoroughly believed they would now make a new series focusing on Almanzo and Laura moving to Mansfield, MO. And continue her life and start of her writing for the local paper and raising Rose and then her writing the Little house books. People from Walnut Grove could make guest appearances, Story lines galore with finding out what happened to where everyone ended up after the big blow up. It could have gone on for years. You see, little house was never supposed to go off the air in my opinion, it lives on in the original series yes, but wouldn't it have been grand if it went on with laura writing her books ( book Laura was 60 when she started writing her books which Melissa Gilbert is approaching that age). I LOVE Little House, always will. Please Dean and Melissa, get back together and make a series or movie of this. That has been my "Prairie Fantasy " ever since the series ended.
Question: I know Dean wore Pa's hat for the final seasons and that he has the hat now but how many hats were there? I know Pa lost one in the water when he and Jonathan were following the boys. Towards the end, I noticed a damage in Pa's hat that I didn't see when Almanzo wore it. How many hats were there?
40+ years ago - Dean Butler was my fictional boyfriend, Patrick Duffy aka Man from Atlantis was my fictional brother, and Richard Chamberlin was my fictional husband - all at the same time!
My question is from a viewer's standpoint. When Michael Landon (or whomever) was directing a scene, would he talk to you before he yells "action" about the way he wants you to act in said scene or would he direct you as the scene is being filmed and it's set so that we viewers don't hear the director speaking? I hope what I am asking makes sense! 😂 Thank you sooo much for doing these podcasts! I am 51 years old and have been a huge Little House fan all my life!! 😁
that was a really good episode i look forwatd to watching the next one which i am going to do next i am almost caught up on the epiosdes i have missed but i do look forward ro watching the new episode from this podcast i am really enjoying the episodes
I don't think Jon would have done it but a spinoff with Nellie, Laura and Jon and his wife would have been wonderful. Jon didn't like his "dull" character after he aged but real world problems would have made them relatable.
I'm glad they talked about the manicures and makeup. It's so distracting. I never noticed Melissa Gilbert's manicures, but Melissa Sue Anderson's French tips were totally on display, maybe because as a blind character she uses her hands to find her way. I just couldn't believe no one told her she had to have natural nails.

Although she got flak, I felt bad for Melissa Sue not wanting to kiss someone at 13. I wouldn't like having to do that at 13 but being an actress she was coached to do so.
Hello. I would like to collaborate with you and do a video on your channel talking about how God took me from homelessness to earning a doctorate. I think it would bring hope to your viewers. Let me know if you're interested.
The music on your show is sooo amazing! What a light, piano version.
Love hearing all these amazing stories and information about the show!
That cherry blossom festival is officially on my travel bucket list now. I'm fascinated!😂
Same! As a history buff I am all in for that adventure next year!
Do the historical topics get announced in advance?
Where is it?

Yay you asked my question at 34:31 asking about Almanzo falling through the roof.
Hello there! Where do I commit my questions for this podcast? Thx a lot.
This…

Oh my goodness, I loved The Man from Atlantis....😮😅😅😅
And speaking as a 60 year old woman, my fictional boyfriend was Keith Partridge🙂
Boyfriend and a husband! Good for you!! 😅

I can't imagine anyone not getting along with the affable Dean.👼 I won't comment on any detractors.🤐
Michael landon was on bonanza 14 yrs
Is this a re-broadcast of last week?

Jack Lilley! Please try to get him on the podcast! He was on more episodes than some of the main cast! LOL!
On the pilot episode when they’re in the cabin, Ma is sitting on the bed and you can see a jacket next to her

Can we have a new episode? I’ve had this same one show up as new multiple times now in my feed. Please give us something new
A new one dropped this morning with Melissa Gilbert but it was taken down right after I watched it! Sure hope they get it reloaded soon
@@just_a_smalltowngirl585Yes! I saw that one, it was really good!
