yes. The important thing is to be well-dried.
@@CRAFTEKA well dried also means very brittle. What do you think would happen if I did it with a fresh flower something like a tiger lily with really thick leaves

Yes, always dried. Never fresh. :)
Where do you get the tubes to make the round wire forms?
Try using drinking straws, stick pens, knitting needles, handles from paintbrushes, etc....
