I haven’t given them a tv yet. Maybe an old iPad for a large screen? Lol

Sorry they had such a rainy day. We are expecting some rain tomorrow, but heavy thunderstorms on Monday. They will not like it. Hopefully our "get yourself out of the rain lessons" will prove for super fast learners and not a soaking wet Mom. To be determined.
We had planned to work in the yard today. But, I wasn't feeling well and none of the yard things are urgent, so we decided to do something fun instead--at least fun for old people who don't get out much. We went to Wendy's to try the new salted carmel frosty and we took our little dog, Slinky, and our mama's boy rooster, Buddy. Everybody had fun. Buddy sat on my lap and looked out the window and Slinky layed beside him on my lap. When he is away from his girls and kingdom, he is very docile. He didn't even think about pecking Dad or Slinky and was a sweet boy. Was afraid he would crow in the drive thru line when we were trying to order, but he just chattered his sweet sounds and looked out the window. Slinky was hanging out the driver's side window waiting for her hamburger patty, so the Wendy's people were focused on her and didn't notice we had a roo in the car until we were about to leave. My husband is a teacher who has been teaching in our local high school for 35 years--so the employees were all former students. They were cute--they said, "Mr. Sivils, where was Buddy when we were in school?" We had various lizards and snakes as pets for our sons which always made visits to the school during his teaching career. Slinky knows her way around the school, but Buddy hasn't had a chance to go to school with Dad--probably because he is messy and pecks Dad when Mom isn't looking.
Finally, on day 3, my flock figured out the new sand in the dust bath isn't going to kill them and they got in and ate their treats and scratched around. Silly flock.
Hope you guys have a good day tomorrow. Take care!
