WORKED for the first time!!! The instructions that come with the Slim Par 56 didn't say "select 3-ch" for my Obey 3 DMX controller..... guess I should have figured that out... but.. .didn't.. BTW, the brains of your lights appear to be the same as mine, guessing this will help others with same branded lights. THANKS!!!
Thank you! I dumpster dived @ my church's junk removal work day and found this type of system. The manual was as uninformative as you said. Great video!
Hi! Great video demo. I just bought the Chauvet 4Bar (just the original) and I am curious to see how these perform with the "Chase" and "Sound" modes on this controller. Any way you'd be willing to do a video demo of these? I'm guessing the lights will operate similarly on both units even though yours is a slightly different model. Thanks!
Any thoughts on placement for this kind of lighting in a church setting? Right now i'm using it as a light to go up the wall at the back of the stage kind of lighting but I'm wondering if it would work better somewhere else. I noticed that if I put it too far away it's area of effect becomes really huge and is hard to control.
I've used them in a couple churches as front lighting trees to light up the stage and band. In a portable setup I typically do left and right just inside and behind where the speakers are usually positioned. But placement depends heavily on the room layout.
Your video was the first video that made since, thank you for keeping it simple for us dummies

I dnt know how to use this will it work to my LPC007?
Will the Obey 3 allow you to work with the chase/color change scenes on the 4bar as well? You didn't mention that function.
