Great vid sir! Is that Alvin's voice u used? ;-] seriously, my son needs em on his 2005 Honda VTX. I think they'll help tame the turbulence. Take care, ride safe!

Thanks! Decided to speed up the audio when I realized how slow I was speaking haha I'm glad the video helped and definitely a solid purchase.

I stand corrected. I installed mine today and there’s only one way to put those pieces together and that’s the way you did. I saw another video on assembling the brackets and the guy was quite perplexed, as he assumed the soft nuts would be facing out and the allen heads facing in. But nope, he finally put it together the way you did, and the way I finally did. Sorry for any confusion I caused anyone.

Did it solve your buffeting problems? Did you have to adjust the height or angle? I have a Memphis Batwing with lower deflectors, 9 in spoiler shield, and just installed these lowers on a vtx1800. Still chasing a solution, although my buffeting has been greatly reduced.

Hey Jeremy, it resolved about 90% of my buffeting problems. Funny enough that the day I tested these happened to be a "wind advisory" warning around here lol took it on another run a few days later and it worked real well. I haven't moved the lowers around since, but I do need to angle my main windscreen a little to take care of the remaining 10%. I honestly feel like the main windscreen is a bit too high for my seating position which could be adding to this issue.

Thanks for the great idea. I’ll be looking into doing it to my bike!

Yoooo sped it up cuz a 14 minute video with slow speech delivery seemed like overkill to get the point across 😂

All good, totally understand 🤙 I was simply trying to sound less boring and not drag the video to 15 minutes. Appreciate the feedback brother 😎

It looks like you installed the bolts in the shields upside down. The soft ends should be visible, the ends with the allen heads should be facing the engine.

You might be right! Thanks for catching that. I think I just lost sight of that detail after seeing a sample picture of the Memphis Shades store on Amazon 😑
