    Thanks for this video. I lifted mine and my wife's Jimny before I saw this and mine ended up leaning to one side after I was done. Turns out I had reversed one of the leaf springs and you repeatedly mention during your instructions: longer end of the leaf must face forward. That gave me a a clue what to look for. While I did the job I never noticed that the holes were not in the center of the leaves. Took the axles out again today and measured the leaves and sure enough, one of the front ones was reversed. Thanks again for making this important point. 👍

    Just did mine and it turned out great, except I can't finish because I can't find a 35mm m3 screw for the steering link. 😅 I might have to order some. Thanks for the tutorial. 👍

      No problem. Thanks for watching. It's good to have some longer m3 screws laying around. They come in handy

    I'm hoping to buy the Jimny today if all goes well. While doing the research about this vehicle i found the group the other day and joined. I have all the screws and spacers and a few accessories lined up to buy , the only thing i don't have at the moment is the wheels. I've seen 2.2 inch wheels recommended so i'll be looking for some aggressive tred wheels to fit on in the near future. Great video with usful information, thanks.

      @@RCVOODOO My Car did arrive today and i've been unable to run it as i have every adapter cable except the XT60. I've had a cable made so i should be able to run it by Monday at the latest. I had difficulty taking the front wheels off. Even with the screws undone the hub caps were difficult to get off, once i did it was easy. Setting up the front axle proved to be a pain, i thought that having the diff in line with the drive shaft would be a good idea but that interfered with the steering arm. I have to take some leaves off the back but i'll do that tomorrow after a rest. Now i'm wondering will the car go back in the carry case after the suspension lift?

    Great job! Could you swap the front leafs so the short side is towards the front, which should move the front tires forward?

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably not enough to be effective, but you certainly could.

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tires Haven't arrived yet. I think the 19th. . I'm seriously thinking of going with the deep gray and black combo like I did on the last willys build
