Thank you for sharing so much knowledge with us and thank you for your art. You really are an inspiration for me. I am a 45yo French woman living abroad. I have a lot of respect for your culture and have had for at least 40 years :) I want to create a walking/cleaning group where I live. Once per week, we would meet with all the neighborhood people wanting to participate, walk around because it is healthy to walk and each time we see some garbage on the floor or caught in bushes, we pick it up and put it in garbage bags. I hope this project will become reality :)
@@JapaneseSalon Nice to meet you too :) I live in Germany and have been living here for some years now. Thank you so much for your encouragement, I will of course keep you posted about my project. 🥰
Fantastic, always inspirational. I think your describing Misogi in some respects.i learned by following Shinto Misogi is not just about standing under waterfalls and taking baths. It's a state of mind through prayers, mediation and actions. Then the Kami-sama help us along the way especially in the afterlife. 🙏❤️⛩️
@12 min. About lighting, I have noticed for years that it has direct impact on positive energy. Even in my office I for past 6 years prior to retirement, I disabled all florescent lights, covered the entire celling with grey felt fabric and installed low wattage track lights with dimmer switch. It made a great difference on my productivity! Secondly, just watched a great vidoe about the traditional houses in the surrounding areas of Kyoto, as how important the display of light, shade, outhouse WC are so magnificent! Thank you for your great presentation!😊😊
Azumi~san, whenever you discuss an important concept like Purity, you always give us such intelligent and understandable practices to apply ✨ I have sometimes struggled with purity in my thoughts, especially as you mentioned while in traffic. It has always bothered me because I am a very positive and friendly person in all other ways and I have actively worked on this but had little success. When you taught of the flowing river and removing the obstructions that cause disturbance, it was a revelation on how I could put an image into my mind that will be so strong , as to overcome the negativity, allowing the positive lifeforce (KI) to flow. Thank you for this lesson 🙏
Azumi, unfortunately in our Catholic Poland, we don't pay as much attention as in Shinto to the spiritual cleansing of the external and internal world. Certainly, as you say, it is very important. One of the ways is to not judge, not condemn, allow everyone to be themselves. To focus solely on oneself. It's so simple and difficult at the same time, I'm still practicing it :) Emotions are the most important thing in human life! And again, cleansing - to feel - to become aware of what emotion it is and to release it. And so on until the end of this wonderful life. Warm regards and thank you for bringing Japanese culture and religion closer to us.❇💠
Nice to hear from Poland! Thank you for sharing your insights. This is a life-long practice! As we keep our house clean, we can keep cleaning our mind, too, as it gets dusty sometimes!! 😇
That’s such good advice to purify ourselves. It’s so important. There’s so much poisonous energy everywhere. Jealousy is so strong with some members in my family. I have to be aware of not sparking any jealousy but it gives me resentment because it’s the jealous person who should change themselves but we can’t change anyone else we just have to be careful, aware and kind
Konnichiwa Azumi. Really enjoying your videos. I have been interested in Japanese culture for over 40 years. As a gaijin took me years (before the Internet) to learn the tea ceremony. Please could you upload the full version of you demonstrating it as you only showed a short clip. Arigato. 🙏
I am a professional cleaner and declutterer and i steuggle sometimes to express what i feel happens in a space - as well as within myself - during a clean. Your words have really inspired me, thank you!
So wise and beautiful! Thank you, dear Azumi 💚💚
My pleasure 💓
