When I first heard this song in 2017, I was homeless and single and lost hope. To see this song pop up now all these years later and I’m now living in a home, married to my dearest best friend, we might have a baby on the way, and I love my life! Maa Vue! Your song has gotten me through a lot of hard times and now I hope how your songs have helped me grow. My child will know your songs and you who helped me through so much ❤️
Four years later and this is still one of my favorite songs. You don't even understand how the messages in this song has helped me overcome the most difficult time of my life. The following is my translation of the beautiful lyrics. I hope that you all will be able to enjoy the message that Maa shared with all of us in this song.

Wow! “Don’t open until 2024” now is the year 2024!! Always a beautiful song 🎶
This music video has a very distinctive concept. Notices, the old woman is maa vue. She reads her old journal that is 20 years later. It's an inspirational journal written by her 20 years earlier, consisting her positive thoughts in that journal to keep her positive, inspiring thoughts to keep her motivated and going. She says, when things get hard, just remember that journal and when 20 years later you'll understand. I'm assuming, just in case she goes through complicated life issues, she is able to read that journal and keep the same mindset of herself 20 years earlier. Therefore, basically, she wrote this song to herself and she is actually singing to herself. Not saying, she is stuck up; but it teaches us that when life gets hard and you have nobody, you have yourself to lift yourself up. What an intelligent concept! I just want to note, I love how she quote my favorite quote in her song, "When an opportunity closes, an opportunity opens." (3:27) She was able to interpret that in Hmong very well. I was very impress when I heard her sing that line. She must of carefully wrote this song because it's very thought thoroughly. I really admire this song, because honestly, she must been going through lots of hardship while writing this song, yet she was able to use her the power of positive to get by life and with this song. Thank you for sharing, it's very inspiring. Keep it going : )

Hun -it doesn't matter what others have in comparison to what you have. You are beautiful, smart, brave and unique in your own ways. There is nothing wrong with your body, but it is the wrong message you're connecting to your body and mind. Each one of us is not created to look the same or have same flaws and imperfections as each other. Love, hug and embrace and adapt with what you have. It is difficult to see the beauty one have within itself. Look in the mirror from head to toes and write down or name some of the strongest features you noticed or stands out about you. I call them beauty imperfections identification marks to identify each one of us. "The Beauty Imperfections Identity Fairy" does her magic to brand each one of us to have different marks or body to identify us. Now, without out beauty imperfections identification marks life would be very boring if we all look the same. In my world if we only have one Comedian, damn life wouldn't be the same or boring if I have to laugh at the same old jokes day after day. Lol...Sweetie, you can make a difference by loving yourself and your imperfections. Embrace and adapt the beauty marks and body you've been blessed with. We can make a change in us to enhance what we've been blessed with but not necessarily change us to become someone we're not or lose our identity or beauty marks. It's like erasing a part of who you are or the beauty imperfections identification marks mother nature blessed/created you with. I don't like that I'm a thick and curvy woman but I know I have an okay butt and toned legs so I embraced them by wearing bottoms that hugs my butt and showcase my legs to my comfort level but not change me so much. Same with my hair. I have thin hair but good length so I embraced it by finding a hair style or cut to enhance thicker hair but to my comfort level and doesn't change who I am, just an enhanced me so I can feel good about myself but not necessary change me or lose myself. I don't give a shit what people thinks or view of me, as long as I'm happy with me and feel good about myself, because it is about me loving myself. Remember that you are beautiful, smart and unique in your own ways. I always tell people "your mama didn't do all that hard work to give birth to you to look the same or have the same body or flaws like everyone else so embrace, love yourself and be comfortable in your skin girl! Stay beautiful, safe and be blessed sister!
