@The Reclaimed Heirloom I agree with Patty Avendt. I would like to see more sand art. My dad has dementia and was very creative in his younger days as he remodeled their homes. Now that he is 88, and was consequently given only 6 months due to his heart valve stenosis, this may give him some form of comfort and a sense of purpose as he creates something beautiful. He still has some “good” days and when he does, I’d like to help him enjoy them. ~Debbie Z~. Update: My awesome dad has passed away. I will miss him terribly.

I think I am grabbing the “side-end” but I am still doing something wrong. When I find your videos that address my needs or problem’s or even just following along, it is IMMENSELY helpful. So please note that you taking the time to really explain and break things down is what makes or breaks my learning and trying your projects, which I so look forward to doing, I am more of a visual learner. Yes, please, show us how to do different designs with your salt/chalk, or whatever you meant by that. I love everything you do. It is so classy. I like this better than the sand, because you actually got little swirls, of light and dark, inside each layer. Very nice. I used to love doing sand art, back in the day.

I was watching a previous video from November (big dinning table). I have been loving the technique with white waxing. I have a huge oak wall unit that I had since 1989. I decided to clean it really well (I didn’t paint or sand it) then I used Jolie white finishing wax (from Amazon), buffed it and put new leather pulls on the drawer and cabinets. It’s stunning! I never would have attempted it if it wasn’t for this channel. I feel like I have a brand new stylish piece of furniture (actually it’s 5 pieces) for almost free. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing all these great ideas. I love the planters with the pipes, actually I love them all!
