- This is an updated guide for anyone wanting to play Albion Online in 2022. This guide will help new players get the fastest possible start in the game. This beginners guide is great to show to your friends or anyone curious about trying the game out. If you're a newbie who wants to get ahead of the pack and get a solid foundation that will rocket you ahead of most players, then you're at the right place.
I see many new players who are just stuck in the blue zones making very little progress while making no silver. With this guide you will be able to solo open world bosses, be well equipped to complete daily quests, and be WEEKS ahead of other newbies. All with zero risk. Too many other guides out there have new players risking their gear in the dangerous red and black zones, or doing risky auction house flips, crafts, or other financially shaky things. And that value goes to the player that loots your body. Equipment is NOT a permanent upgrade in this game. There is the same risk you have as a non paying player.
Money can help you save time, yeah but you as a single person won't be winning a war just by swiping your card.

I think he simply does it because he's a good guy, he just wants to help as many people as he can, and he has-TREMENDOUSLY. If you don't agree, look around the game,, literally 80% or more of solo players are using Benji's builds.
It seems the "One Guy" here is You and the Majority is in fact those multiple hundreds of posts below- You are that 'One Guy' in every crowd who has to put his unwanted and unwarranted two cents in for the simple reason to attempt to ruin everyone's good experience, our fun, or just to badmouth someone for trying to do something nice for others. Why? Because you have nothing better to do and nothing to offer anyone as far as Albion Online is concerned,,, other than criticize others?
However, let me be sure I understand you. From the literal Thousands of Albion Online videos here on TH-cam, you decide to watch videos that you do not like, from start to finish (as you stated they were 'long and drawn out') hence you must have, from a 'TH-camr' that you don't like, out of the thousands of 'TH-camrs' who do all types of AO content, you then read all the comments and pick one - all culminating with your crescendo - a false statement and an insult, and to ice the cake, a request to not have more videos made that you don't like but will have to watch from start to finish, read all the comments, find one where you can add your blather, only to repeat the whole process once again on Benji's next video. Got it.
A piece of advise, take it or leave it. Watch videos you enjoy, and don't be Lazy.

Thank you for making this video, I am new to Albion Online and I am finding it a great experience at the moment and with the amount of people who are around to dungeon with or PvP with, its been a great time. I really like the player base economy and the way you can play any style with any armour and any weapon, but it still does make it worth while doing it the proper way, which you obviously shown us here! Thanks for this brotha man! Played some back in the day then fell I to the guild trap. Quit the guild and took a "break" during the cool down and just forgot to reopen the game... As now there are more people farming mobs, there are also more faction pvpers in YZ and gankers in RZ/BZ. I play around UTC 23:00 - 01:00 and there is still a lot going on. I think I'm becoming a little paranoid even in the YZ because I do not like the repair fee (and I have in my inventory a T7 Avalonion tool, jeez! Really should forget about gathering...)
In my opinion it might be easier if a new character stays a little longer in T4 zones, because there are more enchanted/glowing mobs left there, sometimes even bosses. In late night you can find 5 or 6 players - bots - in the zone, and they are not going to take those mobs. While in YZ most of the worth-killing mobs are just gone (at least in zones between BW and Lym).
Oh, and now the merc labourers seem to be the best-selling ones.

I’ve tried to play this game last year, but there’s not alot of people that i know in my area (SEA ofcourse) that play this game and it’s kinda hard to understand even the basics stuff. And after i watch this video i started to play this game now. I love how you put all the details (cause hell yeah im a newbie and know nothing about the detail) like the key binding and advanced chat settings. Great video to start off, just from the first hour I watched I was able to get all Tier 4 gear and have about 200k in my pocket from farming random mobs and getting some sweet loot to sell.

thanks man, most helpfull vid i have seen of albion, in 2-3 hours of gameplay with new character i was way ahead of my older character with 6+ hours in, my biggest slow down was gathering and crafting because i wanted to craft everithing for myself because i tought that it would be cheaper :D

Anyhow, could you maybe please consider time-stamping the vid? Like at the part when you go through tutorial island, then when you go to your first dungeon, then when you pick the bolt casters and talk about setting it up, and so on :)

@@Akhi_Furqan The game is honestly so huge. so far I have 20hrs ingame and most of it is farming in the yellow zones nd upgrading my equipment 🤣 It definitely is slow to lvl in the yellow zone but if you enjoy the game then even the grind is fun. The yellow still has abit of thrill tho because pks can still be intimidating but its nice knowing that they cant take anything 🤣 Ive tried the red zones with low cost equips and id only survive for 5minutes or ive had to run away 🤣 so for me, its much better farming in the yellow zone. Its definitely intimidating knowing you can lose everything, thats why it is veryy important to make sure you have equips that you are fine with losing. Always expect you'll die and lose everything in these zones. Never take your expensive gear unless you're okay with losing your things.
Then you'll be fine and enjoy the game! i've barely scratched the surface with the game tho. I wish I had alot of time to play 😭

took a few days of watching as I followed along on my new and only character, but I made it all the way through. Ive got 34 on crossbow fighter and then some on priest b/c I like healing, 500k ish silver and somehow im in a spanish speaking guild becuase i was healing them randomly and they just drug me along on some crazy stuff they were doing and I dont even know where we were. So far, i think im digging the game. tyvm for all that affort on this video! if it were not for a wow classic rogue video from way back I wouldnt be here.

Love this vid. Just a question however, if you don't really enjoy boltcasters does any other good build work at all? or will it just be slightly harder or a different playstyle? I just don't feel right being locked into crossbows instead of finding a build/weapon that works for you.

Thanks Benji. Through my whole game all the way up to yellow zone killing mobs I've followed your steps. Really happy with the damage wise outcome of my character. Just gotta work on spell casting and dodging. I'm totally new and it's my first character. It's my first time trying out Albion Online. (A little late in 2022 but issaokay i guess) One mini problem. I'm pretty scared to join Guilds coz of all the scammy things you mentioned. Kinda feels like I don't really know who to trust, like when they offer to join them sometimes, feels kinda sketchy but I don't blame them. Maybe I'm being a little too paranoid. 😂🤷🏻♂️ Any advice?
If you wanna join a guild look for a discord first then join it in game. If the guild happens be not something you're into then look for a different one
