Anybody who thinks this man sabotaged his son by stopping that fight needs to understand he’s a father FIRST! He is not going to sit back n risk his sons health so he can win a fight. To him the real win is in his’s sons safety.. He saw his son was incapable of protecting himself so he stopped the fight period. His decision was easy that’s a real father right there put some respect on Kenny Porter name! He did a fine job as a father, manager, and trainer!

Yeah if you understand the sport, Kenny is a horrible trainer who has done more harm than good once Shawn reached elite level. Several things Shawn does wrong like smothering his own punches, keeping his chin up when he bull rushes which resulted in his two flash knockdowns, and he basically taught shawn how to fight one way.
