I’m keeping my ol’ whiskey compass. But that AV-HFR localizer/Glideslope/VOR receiver is a game changer! Now with two AV-30’s you have transponder, VHF nav radio, all six basic flight instruments, angle of attack, bus voltage, and things I am forgetting. That’s a lot of power in a small amount of panel!
Excellent video! I've been a fan of uAvionix for years and this was great to see what they're working on. Surprised no mention of the retroPilot development - hopefully not dead in the water. Innovation is picking up in GA but now if the FAA could only keep up (catch up), we'd be cookin'!
Tell them to continue the development of the NanoLED position light. They brought it to OSH last year and then shelfed it and I never heard another word about it. If we have a tailbeacon or echo UAT we don’t need more ADSB in or out on our wingtips, we just need a good wingtip light that is ultra bright and won’t yellow and will strobe simultaneously with tail.
G,day Jeff from Sydney Australia. Within the FAR/AIM minimum navigation requirements; is an electronic compass approved and magnetic no longer required? Primary flight displays * Compass * Altimeter * Turn co ordinator * Air speed indicator * ADSB- out 🌏🇦🇺🤨

Would love to see some updates or information on the AV-HFR. I hope they didnt scrub the idea.
Put the 3 light marker beacon receiver in the package with the VOR/ILS too, please.
Love their products. Have two AV-30s. Waiting for the an-hsi to get certified

Any chance of stopping by the Velocity Aircraft and get the lasts information and what they are up too?
Thanks
I think they are supplying the aircraft manufacturers. Mcfarlane is fantastic.
