    You are correct. There are few things as gratifying as turning greasy and rusty old parts into clean and shiny ones!

    I'm doing the exact same thing with my GTV 916 rear suspension, but on a much more amateurish looking level, lol.
    I removed rust by bathing the parts in citric acid. Then I coated in rust converter, zinc primer, and finally hand-painted in enamel.

      Hi, no on my daily driver i just used a standard enamel spray paint. For future restorations i would powder coat these parts.
