If the Ganzo G807 had a tang through the entire handle like the f1, it would be the perfect survival bushcraft knife for an unbeatable price. Even without that it's a great knife for a really affordable price.
Wish they would have used 14C28N instead of the cheap 9cr14, and full tang that thang at least. Really wish they would make this in a really good steel like S35VN or a V3 or V4(and make it full tang) but Ganzo ain't about that life... Definitely a great looking knife! Ganzo has some great designs, just wish they would use a bit better materials. Oh well maybe one day...
Actually the edge retention of 9cr14mov would surprise you. It's very similar to 14c28n. About the steel, s35 or V3 steel would shot the price to the sky and this is 20 or less bucks knife and for this price is great. So if you want knife from S35 or V3 steel there is a lot knives on the market, for much higher price of course. Ganzo G807 wins the first place in it's price level.
@@to_the_wilderness The price of the S35VN steel blanks are not THAT much higher, they jack those prices up artificially. Look at Magnacut, most companies that have knives who even have a whiff of magnacut in their vicinity are $300+, but then you have Bestech with a $90 one. Yes the price would go up but not as high as you might think, if the company making them are not greedy.
@@The1stDuhZeez You mentioned bestech for 90. Again, this is 20 bucks knife and for this price is great. Every improvement about steel or fulltang would increase the price and it's good thing that there is decent knife for 20 bucks. It's better than Moras and it has flat grind. I'll say it one more time. For this price it's great knife.
@@to_the_wilderness I was using the Bestech as an example of how companies jack up the prices artificially. Ganzo could EASILY make this knife, full tang, in S35VN or a similar super steel for around $50, so while yes it would increase the price It would still be an amazing deal and would sell like hotcakes. They could make the 9cr one as a budget option and make the S35VN as a more premium and make bank. And yes I agree it is a great knife for this price, I never disagreed with you on that.

@@joshuaw2128 pretty cool knife for unbeatable price, isn't it?
