Building bushcraft survival hidden basic shelter in the woods with one tool. Read below.
มุมมอง 2598 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hi guys. Even though it's a beautiful spring, the temperature still drops to zero at night. Still too low temperature without a sleeping bag. This is a basic shelter that you can easily build with a machete in half an hour and you can build it even without tools, of course it will take a little longer. A few tips for beginners: 1) Look for a drier place, not in a hole. If it rains, you will sle...

nice
I have one, love it and it is so affordable.....
Hope ganzo will make 4 or 5 inch fixed knife with fulltang blade using 440c or d2 steel..
9cr14 is very similar to 440C actually except Chromium. If they are properly heat treated, as a user you have no chance to recognise them. Edge retention is comparable. About 4 or 5 inch fixed knife, that would be cool but I've heard Ganzo has some blade lenght limitation by law which is interesting because other China producers don't care about such a low.. Let's hope and we will see.
Also Ganzo made D2 fixed blade.. FH805
@@to_the_wildernessI see.. Fh805?? I check it up and the spec says it's made from 9cr18 not d2.. Model Number: FH805 Handle Material: G10 Blade Material: 9CR18 Total Length: 192mm Blade Length: 85mm Blade Thickness: 4mm Hard Rock: 57HRC Weight: 114g (w/o Sheath) ; 154g (w/Sheath)
I saw D2 on local eshop. Now I checked that again on different website and yes, there is 9cr.. Sorry for wrong data..
Can you strike a Ferro Rod with this Knife? Can you Baton with this Knife? ( I' am Not a Fan of it, i mean very carfull, not hard ...I am interested at this Knife ( Sorry for my English i am a German) )
12c27 is not the best steel for hard use but occasional careful batoning is possible.
Is the sanrenmu blade painted??
It's more like anodizing or something like that. I cut a lot of cardboard and it's still there.
Dommage belle gueule mais une vraie merde difficile à ouvrir sans grand ongles et ressort cassant trop fragile 😢
If the Ganzo G807 had a tang through the entire handle like the f1, it would be the perfect survival bushcraft knife for an unbeatable price. Even without that it's a great knife for a really affordable price.
Gee Thanks for the comparision, nice performance at the price 😮, just bought one in Gray colour
@@joshuaw2128 pretty cool knife for unbeatable price, isn't it?
Blade looks longer than original Mora. Pro C I guess?
@@Drunken_Frog_40000 Yes! Pro c. There is a few extra millimeters hidden in the plastic handle so I exposed whole blade.
A wonderful EDC, Budget priced with American labor. Blade length is perfect and legal where I live ( 3 inch limit ). Can't ask for more. 🙂
I just bought one . Just 10 minutes ago .
Nice Review and knife
Not exactly what I expected on your channel but it's cool anyway. Watching snail is quite relaxing.
Old school slipjoints have things new knives can never accomplish, charm (like you said) but also that warm nostalgic feeling we get. That is their selling point IMO.
agree 👍
It is amazing what the BOS heat treatment by Buck achieves with a lesser steel. Id be interested in a comparison of 420hc non buck conpared 8cr30mov. I just moved up from the Buck Bantam to a CRKT knife in 8cr. I work in an environment of daily knife use, and the buck fairs well with daily stropping. Anxious for tomorrow to try the 8cr lol
Hi, to be honest I don't know 8cr30mov. Is there chance you meant 8cr13 or 8cr14mov? For daily use knife I would recommend steel 14c28n, VG1 (its not VG10), ATS34, D2 or higher. Even with top heat treatment which BUCK does, 420HC is still lowend steel. properly heat treated 8cr13mov is little bit better, but it is still lowend steel as well. If you don't want to spent extra money, try some GANZO knife from D2, you will be suprised.
You don't leave the script up on the screen long enough for me to read it, so I have to back up. come on out of your turtle shell and talk to us we don't care if you stutter😊 that said nice video thank you!

Is it normal for the tip of the knife to be seen on your cover in a small hole?
It's quite common, its version of water drain.
That knive 😍😍
It's awesome, but I'm afraid it's not no longer available.
@@to_the_wilderness 😟
Cool little piece
Very affordable compared to some of the others I have seen in videos
Care to share how you did it?
Just forced patina and then put it to the plastic jar with gravel and shake it baby :)
Mikov is awesome
Is the camera holder on the shoulderstrap removeable? This pack would make a great butout bag, because of it's size, and front opening
It is removable. And yes, it's good as a bugout bag as well. Even though it's not cheap the quality speaks for it.
Yeah yeah knife whatever. The music makes this video great!
Very nice , i would maybe drop the multi tool and add the biggest knife that fits the container...
Actaully this sanrenmu fits perfectly and it's better knife than it. looks.
Nice review
I have also the best experience with clipper lighters. I have the metal one and it serves about 5 years on daily basis. One gas refill last with a several daily use almost two months.
Excellent. Thank you for sharing!!!
Not bad for less than $25. Gonna grab myself one..
A great neck knife. Got mine set up with paracord that's included & break away barrels. I use mine while out saltwater fishing in SE Texas & just going to the store or wherever. It comes sharp but I have a SharpWerx Sharpener that'll get it shaving hair in a few seconds 🤟
It looks like a great diving knife also in the color and the steel
Great vid and info. Good looking capable knife. In your opinion do you think it's a great sized knife for folks with medium sized hands like me?
If you have size of hand 8-9 you`ll be probably satisfied. I have 10 and a half and I would appreciate little big bigger handle. My solution is paracord wrapping arround whole handle and it`s good now. Actually I have izula as well and eventhough izula has better ergonomy for some reason I usually prefer Lackey.
How come some Mercators have the lockback higher than others.? Mine is equal with the blade. If you watch several videos, you know what I mean.
Actually it's processing. Not exactly flaw, because most of processing is still made by man. Only CNC knives are perfectly same.
I've seen a lot of complaints about the sheath being loose and the knife falling out Anyone ?
Not me but if it will be loose after while you can heat the kydex up and squeeze it to the 'right tight'
why didn't you talk ?? You could have provided so much more information!
Speechless review is below every video, what is so difficult?
Excellent review and excellent flashlight 😉😉
Great little EDC. The new A8 gen3 is even better...magnetic clip and magnetic tail, more rigid clip as well. Slightly different (more advanced) interface. I installed my clip with the open end facing the tail for use on the bill of my baseball cap.

next Time hold steal
could this charge a power bank or a small radio?
That depends on the powerbank or radio of course. On full sunlight is output power about 1A, thats mean it can charge 5000mAh powerbank in about 5 hours. Li-ion/Li-pol batteries are always better than Ni-mh/Ni-cd because lithium can manage fluctuating voltage and intermitend charging.
only 1A in full sunlight ? it should be at least 2A 5V . I consider to buy on because of the weight.
@@Psychosapiens Output/size ratio is actually quite good with this choetech. 2A solar chargers are much bigger and don't belive some cheap chargers with bigger numbers, it's mostly lie.
I have this one. I used this for 3 years. It's decent but is not for me. You need always have direct sunlight, right angle ant static position, otherwise you are done. I wouldn't look any solar panel which have less that 28w. 😛 It's a last stop to size, power ant portability.
@@to_the_wilderness Wait in the video you said you measured 2.3, and 1.5 on a cloudy day? But now you say 1Amp? that's really terrible, that's only 5 watts from a "14" watt panel.
Great video....im also a big fan of convex grind....can't believe people entertain that scandi rubbish...iv ordered my knife...should be with me soon...thanks for the video. . . Showed me exactly what i needed to see..regards Dave..
