please upload more like this tutorial video ., theory and practice together, it was the most useful and informative tutorial video ever I have seen till now ., kindly upload more videos like this content for how to test coil and capasitor and resistor on the laptop's motherboard. thankyou sooooo much
I really like the way you clarify the whole electronics concept particularly on laptop repairing thank you for that .my comment for you is we need desktop computer the same way as laptop.thank you in advance.
Hello, for the first time I am seeing you do same thing completely different. In your website, about MOSFET testing, you wrote that; For n-channel MOSFET, we connect black probe of multimeter to source and red probe to drainand record the reading. Then we reverse the probes and record the reading again. If we get similar readings, it means we have a good MOSFET. And for P-channel MOSFET we do the opposite as above except that the similar readings remain for a good MOSFET....Which is which
I have one doubt. In the first minutes of the video where you tested 8-pins Mosfets, some were giving buzzing sound and some did not. But you said all were good. Does it mean that if we get a reading in the multimeter with no buzzing sound is still good?
Sir , we need SMD mosfet tested off board , the majority of engineers says the readings are inaccurate when mosfet are tested soldered on the PCB . Can you make smd ceramic capacitors test off board along with 8 pins mosfets tested off board ?
Sir , what do you actually read on your multimeter on diode mode ? you say high / low resistance , and then you say for hundred voltage 6:20 that's confusing . does diode mode display resistance or voltage ?
Hello, at 14:10 you were testing the MOSFET on the source to the ground , the mosfet shouldn't connect to the ground ? i mean whenever you connect source to ground we must have reading on the multimeter right ? thank you
That MOSFET is a lower mosfet in the circuit, The source of lower MOSFET is always connected to the ground, check my schematics videos and you will understand
When i turn the power on (for only a few seconds, then i turn off quickly) the mosfet becomes too hot , does that mean that this mosfet is already damaged ?! .. or it may be OK and that current which made it hot comes from another faulty component in the circuit?!! Thanks in advance for your kind advice
Hi there, at 02:23 about mosfet nest to the CPU, in the modern laptop motherboard we cannot remove cpu from the laptop, what we should do in that case? thankyou
When testing a MOSFET, it's best to use the diode mode on your multimeter. Diode mode allows you to check the MOSFET’s internal body diode and gate-to-source junction. Continuity mode is not suitable, as it doesn’t provide the necessary readings for semiconductors like MOSFETs. Make sure to test between the drain, source, and gate terminals in diode mode for accurate results.
@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb Ok, now I know is better use diode mode to test Mosfet, but from your video, when testing the Mosfet, you only got reading from either drain-source or source-drain, not both way, from my testing, i got reading from both way, what is this mean ? thanks

u good th u for going slow and helping new people.....
Thank you
Thank you for this knowledge. so useful
Glad it was helpful!

Thank u very very much sir am will be professional please laptop charger circuit detail repair am buginner ...from ethiopia thank u

It displays drop voltage which could be 700, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200, or 100 depending on the type of diode.

Hi there, at 7:57 whenever we have 1 on the multimeter, does that mean we have infinite resistance? thankyou
Right
thankyou @@electronicsrepairbasics_erb

hi i am new on this.i have a question. do you test a flisting gate mosfet the same was as a regular mosfet? thanks
Hi there, at 02:23 about mosfet nest to the CPU, in the modern laptop motherboard we cannot remove cpu from the laptop, what we should do in that case? thankyou
In that case a short circuit should give 000 not 004 or 005 ...
Very good question @Martin-ot7xj
Now we have only mostefs. There is no tjb anymore
Thank you very much.
You are welcome!
Well done 🙏❤
Thank you
