I love your videos, whenever I need motivation to keep training, I come to your channel and its like an automatic burst of energy. Thanks for making them!
Start by just putting your shoes on. Once you make the first step your more likely to keep the momentum going. Try telling yourself that you’ll only do 2 minutes of something. If it’s going for a walk just go for a walk for 2 minutes. That’s 2 minutes more than you would have done, and the chances of you wanting to carry on walking for longer are very high 👏🏼
Hi from another fierce female martial arts student! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻❤❤❤🥋 I’m in my highest color belt rank and am training for my black belt test in 1-3 years. I’ve been a student in Tang Soo Do ( Korean Karate 🥋) since 7/2/2019. It’s the father of TKD. TKD got rid of hand techniques for self defense. It’s a loss of an essential half of your upper limb’s to defend yourself, but it is what it is. 🤷♀️ That being said: Lauren: You are an amazing warrior and phenomenal at your martial arts skills! Mad respect and I’m respectfully & Virtually bowing to you ! 🥋❤️ You inspire me to keep pushing when it sucks because it doesn’t suck forever! We get better training with our classmates & brothers/sisters working just as hard TOGETHER! ❤
@@amnaqc5496 I nearly broke my hand reacting like that to a power kick so I wonder. I certainly would not want to block a regular Lauren kick with my hand.
Hey! We have an Olympic Academy based in the UK, only around 20 athletes who have been selected to join the program train full time at the academy, which essentially means this is our job! We train 2-3 times a day. It's the base for the GBTaekwondo National Team :) We have a full team of support staff too, ranging from lifestyle advisors right through to sports medicine. Each high performance Taekwondo coach has up to 5 athletes who they work with individually. Although we train together as a team, the coaches have smaller sub groups of athletes they work closely with. We call these "pods". Each athlete has different needs, requirements and personalities so no two programs are the same. Each one of us has a specific tailored training program to ensure we maximise every area of development.
@@laurenwilliams67 wow that’s actually so much more advanced than I thought. You guys have an amazing sense of organization. It seems so nice, but you’d have to go through the UK qualifiers to make it in right? I wish I could have more training through the day, I only have one training session every day, currently getting ready for my nationals qualifiers, working hard for that first place!!
The only reason I don’t is literally the time in the day to edit 😂 it takes SOOO long! So juggling trianing with work and then editing is quite challenging but I try to do what I can when I can 🥰
@@laurenwilliams67 Good luck, it's okay, just practice. We follow your diaries on Instagram and your tournaments. You are really special and we love you.❤

I'm 50 but can still be inspired by your videos. I think, if Lauren can do all that, I can at least trek around fast and go climb some stairs !!

@@laurenwilliams67 I shoot for 30 mins minimum each time. Preferably twice per day cuz I still wanna look good in my jeggings!
Good luck to you Lauren Williams
Always pray with you for goodness, love, success and happiness

Can't believe you spilt the coffee. Obviously not angry with you, no point in crying over spilt coffee ☕ 💙 smash it in Belgium 👊🏻
Good luck in Belgium

I have not seen the hand blocking training before. I do not see such in competitions. How does it help?
I guess in reaction times and blocking skills, I think it's just a bit of reactive training

Works to control straight techniques like a side kick and push them away. Takes a lot of precision and training 😂
@@laurenwilliams67 And part of why you are world class. Thank you!
I have comps in 3 months
How does your training work, do you have a personal coach or is it like, an academy, or just the national team of GBR, I’ve been really curious
