Why you want to bring up Dog Eating all of a sudden. As a Chinese living in the West, its not that common and just for a specific area in Asia. Its like bringing up the worse thing of an ethnic group for no real reason.

I am a firm believer that you dont pick the dog the dog picks you I have had several in my life that have left there paw prints on my heart aand hope to meet them all again at the Rainbow Bridge in some ways animals are much nicer and better than some human beings.
Unconditional love and complete trust. I believe that God gave them to us in order to teach us how to be better people. They don't live as long as we do because they're already pure of heart; they don't need to learn to be better like we do.

I’ve read the book Finding Gobi. It’s my favorite book in the world. I cried when you found Gobi, I cried when you lost Gobi. . . .it was amazing. Gobi and you are fighters and such an inspiration to everyone. I hope Lara’s loving her sister! It’s also amazing how you had people helping you all the way (Richard, Lucja. . . .others). I laughed at the part when you hid Gobi in your room at the hotel and even though you put the ‘Don’t Disturb’ sign on your door how the cleaner still went in your room (luckily, Gobi stayed safe). I haven’t read Lara the Runaway Cat yet, but I’m definitely planning on doing so. It’s funny, Gobi has traveled more places than most people. I saw the picture in the book where Gobi had a little sweater on. My own dog, Sally, owns a little sweatshirt but she hates when I put it on her. I also love the picture of Gobi running ahead of you (how adorable!). But most of all, the pictures of you and Gobi together are the best ones. Every page of Finding Gobi is engraved in your and Gobis unbreakable friendship. Even when you and Gobi where miles apart, your love never faded. I also find it funny how Lucja knew that you were taking Gobi home even before you told her. You show that when you try and don’t give up amazing things can happen. Awwwww, Gobi is a gorgeous little puppa! The book is a MUST READ!. I can't resist 'Doggie Stories'' because they are amazing and I can never be without a dog EVER. Peace and all good.
But we don't love God nearly as much as dogs love us, and dogs forgive us for everything whereas God is quick to punish us and abandon us. Look at the quality of dog love compared to what is claimed ( without evidence) for God. Dogs got God beat by a million miles.
Gobi.....aweee, how precious! That is too funny of a story, he wanted nothing to do with Gobi at first. But....she won him over.....the show called : Dogs with jobs.......just about every person says they have a connection like NO other with their dogs. Like there is some unique strong connect where they look at each other an know stuff about one another. Its soooo amazing to me seeing just how smart dogs are an that they really are on another level with us. Not every person would notice this though, what would have happen if he'd just ignored her or didn't care about her running with him. Wonder what Gobi would have done then....waited for the right person? So intriguing!

Could be cairn terrier/border terrier. He is super sweet and it is so wonderful you two connected...
