Just installed upgrademachine trolling mount, and it is the BEST! It's a beast. Super high quality, super sturdy. Trolling motor was so stable while riding close to 40mph. Also, the height of the mount is great for constant quick locking and releasing the trolling motor. Trust me. After owning 2 seadoo switch mount, this is the one❤❤.
Out of all the trolling motor mounts and videos I liked this one the most. Thanks for this. Could you send me a link with all the parts you used? I would appreciate that.
Link is in the description. Verify your motor mount fits! If it does not fit the mount you can just drill the holes you need. I had extra bolts lying around in my shop. Worse case scenario you take a trip to Home Depot or Lowe’s and grab the bolts you need. Any issues feel free to reach out!
I upgraded to a bigger marine battery there is a slot for it under the front deck plates. You can use it for Just trolling or both and just use the factory battery for starting.
@@Matts_Crafty Yea Matt being older now I'm not looking to fly across the water to get somewhere, just ride , and do alittle fishing and enjoy the day. But I do understand how folks love jet skiing.
Just bought a new Switch Cruise 21 and was trying to figure out how to get a trolling motor on the dang thing with the anchor locker and door in the way....Wonderful video...Thanks
Thing to keep in mind is make sure the motor you buy that he mount fits the switchblade mount. If not it’s not a big deal you can modify it if need be. And may have to grab some new bolts from the big box store, good luck!
Hey Matt, Another question. Do you think the rail upright is strong enough to handle the force of the motor. I plan on only getting a 50lb thrust (12 volt) motor. I have not been able to un-tarp my Switch because it won't stop raining on the weekends...Grrrr. I am thinking it will be fine but wanted your opinion and if you have used it since it was installed?
@@Matts_Crafty So these Switches are becoming very popular and I know everyone want to use it for fishing...I don't have a channel but you would get some views if you did a series on installing your batteries, why you selected the trolling motor you did and is it enough thrust, etc.... Greatly appreciate your videos and responses. Thanks Last question....(I hope) How long of a shaft is on your trolling motor and what thrust...
54” is the length. I’m heading out of town but I will try to remember to do a walk through on my battery. I only use my trolling motor in lakes but I fish mostly in open bay and ocean so I drift mostly.
We installed the garmin kraken on this mount on our 21ft switch, and it is great. It rides smooth and very easy to release. The kraken is 100lb thrust and it operates fine.

@@Matts_Crafty I see; Thank you very much.
You know what I noticed about the SWITCH to have what most boats come with whole ,well with the Switch you must pay more money for any upgrade .
Yeah it’s more for recreational than fishing just my opinion…but fish the hell outta mine 😀

Thanks for showing the trolling motor I was real interested on how it would work 😊
Works great! I’m sure there are many different ones out there but this one does the trick sir. Any questions just hit me up 🤙
Nice. You just need a good trolling motor lol.
Works just fine😂
