And it's really surprising that The Master Ubayashiki has an ability that can "predict the future",like it runs in the family,and explain that they are safe from famine and financial growing and can getaway from anything might happen in the future.

It was explained in the manga that Kagaya's voice inhabits the '1/F Fluctuation' or 'pink noise.' It's a type of frequency that makes people calm. A lot of public speakers, like politicians, have that (yes it's a real thing). In season 1, when Tanjiro met Kagaya, he said that his voice made him feel like he was floating.
It could also be the case that Muzan had a child after he became a demon, and because of that, children from the Ubuyashiki family were born with a genetic defect that was just passed down. In the early 1900s, medicine in Japan wasn't that advanced, so people would just call illnesses a curse. Also it would make sense that if they defeat him, his influence on Ubuyashiki would disappear together with other demons. But it could go either way.
Kagaya's speech about stepping on a tiger's tail and unleashing the dragon's wrath also alludes to yin and yang. Muzan isn't alive or dead; he just exists. He is stuck in a state between life and death, creating an imbalance. That's why Kagaya mentions the tiger and the dragon, which represent yin and yang. Muzan is BETWEEN the tiger and the dragon, destroying the harmony. It's almost as if, because Muzan has lived past his lifespan, he is drawing the life force from the Ubuyashiki family just to balance it out.
I also love how this show handles the existential theme of eternity, contrasting the eternity of demons with that of humanity. It emphasizes that permanence should not be sought in the flesh but in metaphysical concepts. The hanafuda earring, Kagura dance, Yoriichi Type 0, and the sword hidden inside itᅳall of these are examples of this theme. They are important not because they are material things, but because of the sentimental and emotional value they inherit. They were passed down, serving as evidence of someone's existence, their feelings, and their connection to this world even after their physical form is gone. It also ties into Muzan's monologue about change and why he dislikes it from the previous season. He desires an unchanging eternity, while human eternity is constantly changing. Feelings, knowledge, values, and traditions change as they are passed on to new generations and evolve over time. As well we change over time both our bodies and minds. Can you really say that you're alive when there is no change in your emotions, body, and mind? Even plants wilt and change over time. Muzan as a character represents humanity's natural impulse/drive for survival, stagnation, and loneliness in death; he is the antithesis to humanity's concept of eternity.
The whole setup for their conversation was great. The contrast between a man on his dying bed lecturing, the being that existed for more than thousand years, about the nature of permanence is fantastic. This creates a unique characters dynamic within the conversation.
Ufotable gave instructions for Opening song lyrics to be written as if Muzan and Kagaya were having a conversation from this episode. I won't post the full lyrics, but these are my favorite parts:
-"To you who don't know the meaning of eternity
It's time to show the answer.
Who is waiting at the end of the (eternal) spiral
stretching towards fleeting dreams and illusions"
-"My reason sounds like an excuse
Because weakness that hauled in an empty future
Is something you’re mistaking for strength"

Is like a person whose personality,knowledge, wisdom and experience has been passed down through the generations. Only the memory is missing.
Its another form of immortality. Just like kids will take not only their genetics from the parents, but also their maneurism, preferences and pieces of personality, Ubuyashiki is an extreme version of that.
Thats why he is that mature and wise for a teenager.
In terms of thinking, he is closer to muzan than human
That's why we need to pay attention to every detail that this anime says,and to me it's really one of my favorite anime because it's simple but blownaway and very good story telling at the same time,but if you're just here for the fighting not the story then your messing out a lot.Different views from different folks I guess.

fun fact: the timeline of events in the 6 months of when Ubuyashiki was suppose to die.
-the opening scene of Mugen Train was him basically saying he was dying soon. that was likely around the moment when exactly he knew he was going to die (his 'in a few days' line).
-Ep1 of the Redlight District arc Tanjirou monologues that it's been 4 months since Rengoku died.
-Ubuyashiki coughing up blood in the S2 finale and his monologue about how fate has changed with the death of an UM. this was likely when his death woulda happened as the trio and Uzui were on their mission for 3 days.
-Ep1 of the Swordsmith Village arc Tanjirou was incapacitated after the end of S2 for 2 months.
-Tanjirou throughout the Hashira Training arc has basically been training for about 3 weeks.
so Ubuyashiki was truly holding back his death on pure willpower throughout all of these events, until the very moment Muzan came to him, which is so wild.
Oddly poetic him and Muzan go at the start of this conflict and the end of it.
My fav scene was when all the Hasihras found out it was Muzan.. I got chills with their reaction.
This ended weird like there was supposed to be an ending scene. So we have 3 movies to look forward too..
Mine was Gyomei using his stone breathing on Muzan and just slashing everything around him with speed and aggression. HE’S THE GOAT
@@Proximity- excellent scene as well. First time we saw him in action as a Hasihra. Some other reviewer thought he was blind so he wouldn't be a fighter, like they don't know in Anime Old and Blind men are often strong lol

Muzan was probably never happier than in that moment,trapped them all in a place where he is basically unbeatable..no sunlight and its all after his rules lol im honestly shocked some people think that this is kind of a W for the demon slayers to end up there,this is REALLY bad for them objectively 😭

Greetings from Japan! Just so you know, we say “Hajimemashite” upon meeting someone new for the FIRST time. Each time afterwards, it’s either a greeting for the time of day or simply “konnichiwa” for a standard “hello” so only a few versions of the English subtitles that I have seen have been correct. It’s annoying for sure, and confusing. Remember the Entertainment District Arc? We got that title, “Defeating an Upper Rank Demon” and I’m like, “That’s not what that says. More like “ONCE we defeat an Upper Rank demon.” Crunchy Roll, HiAnime, and a few others have varying translations so if you look at other reaction channels you’ll see some of the variations of the translations. But at any rate, I always enjoy you guys and your discussions. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you! I’m excited for that Infinity Castle trilogy that will wrap all this up! LET’S GO!!!!!!!

When I first met my face, when I greeted in Japanese, I started to say "hazimemasite," but I felt that the idea that "this time has come here" is coming up in the smile of odate. Lead a strong bond to the children who leave. It was a very wonderful final time!

This episode was so much 🔥🔥,going to be a long wait for those three excellent movies to come, was so awesome seeing Zenitsu who normally would be freaking out completely locked in and ready for action the letter completely changed him
I got a theory that the balls Kagaya Ubuyashiki kids were playing with was the explosions the whole time🤯
If you watch closely one of his kids drop the ball and looked at Muzan having a conversation with their father
I think that was the sign Kagaya Ubuyashiki Daughter was waiting for from her father in order for her to pop the ball they playing with to make it explode to injure Muzan

I initially HATED this season, thought it would be nothing but filler. But now I understand everything is made to lull us to sleep through those endless training scenes, just to completely explode through the ‘Muzan walk’, and then the final episode is absolutely anime at its peak!
The ‘emergency assembly’ scene is so epic, when every hashira all looked stressed and panic, the audience knew something is going down!

Master's plans is the one who've won not muzan's. now that all of his hashiras are complete he foresaw this final moment. he let muzan think to trap all his hashiras, as muzan thinks he'd , but its the otherway around. master trap muzan and the demon in the infinite castle to execute the mission of 'until sunrise' with the help of tamayo's apprentice boy, the manipulation he'll do with demon slayer 4. And most importantly, ensuring the safetyness of nezuko.

I do not think so. His plan was definitely to get all Hashiras to fight and keep Muzan till sunrise. Ubuyashiki had the hypothesis that if Muzan dies, then every demon dies as well. So, with the Hashiras killing Muzan, there will be no need to go after any of the other demons/moons. I could be wrong ...

This is a controversial take. But this Japanese concept of "Kamikaze" somehow being honorable death is very messed up. Imagine if the USA President told his pilots in World War 2 turn yourselves into suicide bombers rather than surrender the USA and European alliance would have that President later arrested and jailed for war crimes. Ubuyashiki basically "Kamikazed" himself along with his wife and kids. Today in the USA he would be described as a crazy cult leader like David Koresh or Muslim extremist for including his wife and kids. Involving women and children in a suicide bombing is something grotesque Isis would do, there is nothing honorable about it.
Absolutely stupid take, are you serious? This is not a world war, Muzan is not looking to win, there is no surrendering. If muzan wins, he will LITERALLY EAT THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE. And clearly didnt understand anything that Ubuyashiki said, his whole clan is tainted and fated to die early BECAUSE OF MUZAN. Because of Muzan, no one from his family makes it past 30 years old. What was he supposed to do? Negotiate with Muzan? Beg him?

I mean yeah? That's how stories are made. But also he himself says it, although he knew it was a trap he never imagined the scale of it, that's mainly why Amane and the girls stayed, to give him a false sense of security and it worked, Muzan clearly didn't expect Kagaya to be the type to set his own kids on fire.
You clearly understood nothing. Muzan KNEW it was a trap. But he is so powerful that he felt no trap would get him. But he didnt realize the master had an insane amount of hatred for him that he was willing to blow up his family with him, just for a few seconds of weakness from Muzan. Those few seconds were enough for Tamayo to inject the poison and pin him down, enough time for the hashiras to arrive.
