Buy it! It's one of my favs for sure. If these sounded like things you'd enjoy then almost certainly you'll love the game.

Do not understand. Once you get your head around the fact that (unlike in real life) getting injured is just fine, the combat becomes an interesting, nonthreatening and invariably soluble puzzle. We rather wish the other challenges were more like the combat, not the contrary. And-in the last point, what exactly do you mean by “campaign”? If you are thinking that the game is intended to be permanently finished by the time you get to the part about the sleeping gods themselves, I think you haven't been reading very carefully. (Or do you really mean you've seen every ending three times? If so, I salute you!). In any case, replayability is broadly considered a virtue in a game.

For what it’s worth this is one of my favorite games of all time. I thoroughly enjoy the combat as well. Just a couple weeks ago I finished another campaign of Sleeping Gods.
This video is intended as some ideas as to why maybe this game wouldn’t be for the viewer. But I also made the opposite video which you can check out below.
