That was incredibly beautiful! That’s what I want to do in my next life, and I want a Yamaha piano just like that one. It gave me goose bumps! Maurice, you are an exquisite pianist!
When I was in high school, guest artist Earl Hoffman played this piece on trombone. We’d rehearsed the accompaniment but when it came time to play it with Hoffman, he wanted it to be about twice as fast as we’d practiced it. Everyone was out of breath when it was over but man, was it impressive.
GREAT!! I was old enough to really get the B. Bumble version when it came out. The Freddy Martin version from the early 40's is better technically, but the Bumble version has life. Your version is the best of both. Keep it coming.
Wonderful performance! How can these listeners just watch and stay so quiet and like frozen statues on their seats ? They look like mummies.. When you listen to this kind of music, you just cannot remain so... "still" !! Not a single move ... Are they deaf or already dead?
If you pay attention to the audience, you'll see that some of them are moving to the rhythm. The white haired guy in the front row was even tapping his hands to the beat. They probably just wanted to be polite.
Great blend of Hannes Otahal, Jack Fina & Maurice arrangements, ought to be made compulsory syllabus for all sheet music robots who can't play one beside their scores and think they're musicians.
What fun! That sounded wonderful and brought back great memories. My father was a master at this on the Piano, with a unique and very lively style. Different than this, but also fun.
Great workmanship. Of course, there are noticeable shortcomings in technique, but still, I would not have thought that you could copy the master so brazenly. Every note! Incredible. Listen to the original: th-cam.com/video/uOyWTlH6iQE/w-d-xo.html
Listening to this song one can't help but get up and dance the night away. Awesome performance.
MAGNIFICENT PERFORMANCE!!! I LOVE LISTENING TO TREMENDOUSLY -TALENTED MUSICIANS!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
The best musicians make it look so easy ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hannes: "Pretty good, kid, but come back when you're a little older." :D
Not a chance.
Talent recognises talent.
I’m certain Hannes would approve.

4.42 - 5.18 Amazing performance, brilliant cadence and rhythm.
👍👍👍🍾💥
What a great rendition. I love the dynamics!!!
They are just great! So cool. Thank you!
Большое спасибо вам. Интересная версия. Отличная техника владения инструментом. Успехов вам.
This guy's good. Hannes Otahal is the best one I've heard play it though.
By far the best. Hannes graduated high school as a concert pianist
SAME
Uhm, perhaps it's because Hannes wrote this arrangement and plays it much better?
This young kid is not only terrific but he can play with the best!
Изумительно. 👍🏼🙏🏼
That was fantastic! Above and beyond 👏👏👏
This is really good:)
It's not B Bumble & The Stingers, but it's pretty damn good!
OMG you are unbelievably talented!! All the best :D
One of the best I've heard.
This guy's good, and I love the it with the upright and drums backup but Hannes Otahal is the best piano player I've heard play the bumble boogie.
Du bist einfach mega spitze, Maurice. Bitte mach weiter so. Ich könnte dir stundenlang zuhören
Sie sind echt der absolute Wahnsinn, einfach unbeschreiblich toll. Weiter so.
Loved the zombies in the audience!
They knew it was a live recording and didn’t add any of their noise. They understood the assignment 👍

Great walking bass line...

They are, in fact, mummies.
I was just about to say that. I can't sit still. Love this version 💞😊
Européens. We dance inside.
@@ThibauddeLaMarnierreI'm European and 66 years old, you can't just dance inside with this kind of music.

Oh man!!!!!!! Awesomeness
Love it Maurice! I covered it too! Fun tune to play. 😀🎹

good!!! bravo!
Excellent!
Awesome Job my Friend 👏👏👏
Excellent performance
So nice
When i was in high school my parents cut me off of lessons. I just learned Fl ight of the Bumble Bee after mastering Maple Leaf Rag.
Aw I’m sorry that happened to you. I hope you are able to play as much as you want now.
very Jack Finna, very wonderful
My dad used to play this when we were kids. Not quite like that.
Amazing.
excellentissime
Classy ❤
I never thought I'd want to punch an elderly person before, but I could truly hit that man in the green hoodie on the left for YAWNING at 1:34!
The man in the suit second from the right is feeling it tho. Fully passing the vibe check.
Superbe 👍 👍 👍
Bravo!
This one has more the pace of the classic "Flight of the Bumblebee."
AWESOME!
I keep watching the crowd haha
Brilliant
Insane
прекрасная импровизация
Chico Marx would approve
Dommage qu'il y ait une fin !
The performance is great, I loved it. But this church as a concert room is a bit strange. The apsis as a stage is very high above the audience.
Yes that's true, but the acoustic is surpsingly good with people inside.
Where was this filmed? It's gorgeous!
Thank you! That's in the castle church in Spiez, Switzerland.
@@mauriceimhof4362 Thank you for letting me know.
Kultura + dynamit
My hands got tired just watching.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT - SHORTCOMINGS ? YOU MUST HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT A DIFFERENT VIDEO THAN EVERYBODY ELSE
Fabelhaft gem8
Wow. I play the piano but not like that.
Those old folks couldn't tap a toe . . . collectively 🙄
try it again after 20 or so years of lessons!!!
Good performance. But it looks like a catholic Temple, where the musicians play. Empty former Temple. What a pity...
Not a bad version.
