- Mathew Barzal dazzled onlookers at the Boys of Summer Hockey League with his filthy mitts and otherworldly edge work. Barzal competed in Vancouver's Boys of Summer league along with other NHL stars like Toronto Maple Leafs Morgan Rielly & Alex Kerfoot, Edmonton Oilers Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Buffalo's Sabres Sam Reinhart and many more.

Nice to see these guys as normal humans playing summer league for the love of the game. He could walk everyone around him if he wanted to but keeps everyone engaged at 2/3rds his normal speed so everyone has fun.
World class everything- skating, edges, hands, spacing, timing, hockey knowledge. Pleasure to watch
So glad he is on the isles. Can't believe even after all these years, that Boston passed on him 3 times in a row

New breed of dangler. Kane's hands make the move, and his feet follow. Barzal makes moves with his feet, and adjusts the puck to follow that path. unreal.

@Mandy S I can appreciate video editing and the work that goes in to it. I just think most hockey fans. Including me. Appreciate the hockey more. So the sounds that come with it instead.
@Mandy S I would rather have vids with music than none at all. But would rather no music if given the choice. Just feedback for the uploader. Maybe it's a minority that feels that way, and the uploader can decide how he wants to upload.

@@AWCTB no way he went 50-60% of his true skill. My old boss when I was a ref in my late teens or early twenties was a firmer NHL player. ( David Maley ). He would go out and play against us in pickup or stripe games. For a 3rd or 4th liner in the NHL he was ao nasty and skillful against us normal folks when we played. To him it wasn't even a challenge hahaha.
I would say 50%-60% there NHL players out there he’s not as good as mcdavid or anybody else to be only going 10% and doing that
