@@harkerroland9750 I can see how it might be frustrating to dial in sounds on a keyboard, expecially if you have a small screen and are not using a PC editor. Which keyboard were you using? I tried out the Korg Triton VSTi and it sounds almost the same, as many of the waveforms and effects present on the Kronos were taken from the Triton.
Wow this is amazing! Man you've just showed what's possible with the standalone machine! Would you mind if I asked for the pcg file for especially the Monster Lead?
Hi there, awesome ! I found this TH-cam link from korg forums, the reason i go there is to find pcg source ( any sound, leads, etc ) for korg m50 to play dream theater song. If you have some information where to download it then it will be helpful to me. Thank you and keep rockin \m/
Wow! Really nice! About as close as you'll get to the actual leads! If you don't mind me asking, how did you replicate Jens' lead? It's pretty spot on!
Thanks! To be honest I actually have an even closer version of his Lead then this one. But for the video I just wanted to use only my Kronos. The Jens lead was actually kind of easy on the Kronos. Just used the Polysix Synth engine and internal effects for distortion, EQ, chorus, reverb. The thing that take a bit to experiment with and get down is the Filter section.
Thats a pretty difficult task. Not impossible of course, but it would take a lot of time and effort. I actually have started working on making in from scratch in DAW. I have some sounds done and sounding great.
@@jrez8225 Yeah I made them all myself. I have even more that I have made since I posted this video. You name it, I probably have made it at this point lol.
@@alexnasla I'm going to purchase a Kronos workstation in a few days. I believe its the same model as yours but a 61-key. Is it difficult to create your own sounds such as these leads that you've made? I'm just curious. Thanks.
@@jrez8225 my Kronos is actually also 61 keys! As for the sounds, it depends on the sound. Some are harder than others. The hard part is actually the effects chain more than just the keyboard sound itself.
