I'm kinda off put by recent pixies. I found out that was just because they didn't have Kim Deal. It just wasn't the same without her. Anyone can play bass. A lot of people can sing while they do it, they could even be girls, but they'll never be Kim Fucking Deal.
True but I love the new Pixies albums. Frank Black songs, Joey Santiago guitar? They more than took care of world-shifting music in the 80s - their latest stuff is still amazing.
