This is correct to some extent. Like @fireblow6842 said, I modify some of the information to make sense, fit a joke I'm pushing, or just make something up that I find interesting. A good example would be the original idea I had for Fat Boy. I was doing research into the weight of Uranium, what type was used in the nukes the Fat Boy is a reference to, and how much would be used in a grenade of that size. Finding details on that last one was a bit difficult so I ended up just guessing a weight and leaving it at that.
To anyone who hasn't seen LazyMaybe's excellent treatise of a video on the PGL, rj250 is by far the best non unstable overclock in terms of ammo efficiency provided you take the heat mod. The fire effect doesn't have falloff like the explosion does so you get all the grunt killing efficiency of the other overclocks with way more ammo, faster reload and rocket jumping that feels better than TF2's (to me). The only thing you give up is some some guard deaths, which your primary and pick and turrets will make short work of. And if it wasn't clear, The deepcore is *not usually* designed for big bug deletion. Other than that, great series, love the scripting, va and editing. You've managed to embody the madhats we call our colleagues under the crust of Hoxxes IV pretty well :D
Sorry for not covering the heat mod stuff and not clarifying this weapon's efficiency at dealing with large groups. I know I planned on mentioning that all of the Engie's secondaries are good at clearing waves in contrast to the other characters, but I guess I missed that. Visually, Pretorians make great punching bags to demonstrate a weapon's damage so that's why you see a lot of that. As for the heat stuff, I'm a solo act RN, so specific interactions manage to slip through the cracks despite my best efforts. I know someone thinks I meant ill will towards RJ250 Compound, but I absolutely love it. I'm still taking Fat Boy thought because big explosion=funny.
@@ExplosiveT-5 nah man, no ill will taken. I'm nearing 800 hours and I'm still to even try like half to two thirds of the overclocks in the game. The video was hugely enjoyable even without all the stuff you mentioned. Missing interactions and not knowing stuff is absolutely fine, we've lives to live. This kind've comment (from me at least) is always in good faith.
With Rj250 (and pretty much all grenade launcher overclocks) take fire this allows keeping some pretty good damage against crowds and with the elemental immunity perk it is extremely efficient for not blowing yourself up on higher difficulties (and yes still take fire on hyper propellent since it is bugged to only add the fire damage rather than replace some damage (though I do not know if this bug still exists)).
Actually, I think the reason fire works so well is because hyper converts your damage type to disintegration, which A) nothing in the game resists and B) isn’t calculated as direct damage. So basically it’s a feature. Yeah insane I know
5:25 Hyper Propellant is actually closer to regular tank rounds than HESH rounds. Tanks usually fire projectiles that are effectively giant crossbow bolts, made of tungsten or depleted uranium, that are designed to punch through tank armor. HESH rounds are giant blobs of malleable plastic explosives inside of a ductile casing, and are designed to flatten out as much as possible before detonating. They kill tanks by turning the innermost layer of the tank’s hull into deadly shrapnel called spall.
What you’re talking about is “Discarding sabot fin stabilized” which is the standard round in modern tanks yes, but HESH has been used in tanks before if I’m not mistaken (it’s definitely been used against them).
I am aware, but this is how the name HESH is visualized in my head. A "High Explosive" that Squashes Heads. It is inaccurate, but give me a chuckle every time I hear the name. Something that is designed to devastate a wide area with explosive force being used to squish someone's skull under it's overwhelming weight/force.
@@Bludiamond_Titanium I never said tanks _didn’t_ fire HESH rounds; just that they usually fire FSDS rounds. Also, I was describing the rounds in a way than someone who doesn’t know shit about tanks would understand (and also because I forgot that they were called FSDS).

Honestly find it fun y that the breach cutter is just straight up the line cutter from dead space and to allow it to go either vertical or horizontal you have to unlock an overclock for it.
Canonically, the Fat Boy overclock uses plutonium bombs. I'll always be partial to my hyperprop's equally stupid and equally effective 'we made a slug round grenade launcher and replaced the space for the warhead with more propellent' concept though. The big three of PGL overclocks are never not simultaneously fun, ridiculous and effective. RJ250 can also kill swarms of grunts in its radius if you take the fire upgrade, as well as the ever-useful utility of detonating gas clouds, burning spiderwebs and igniting the goo of any driller you rejoice alongside in the concept of extremely close-range high explosives. If you're needing ideas for future videos I might suggest something more in-depth on enemies, including noting biome-specific 'threats' and being sure to cover the many similar such things that aren't in the bestiary. Or perhaps something in-depth on cave formations in differing biomes and missions, from the chambers in Elimination and Escort the game can't render to the unique arches of Sandblasted and gnarls of the Hollow Bough.
I have thought about doing videos for the enemies, threats, and biomes as well. Perhaps I'll delve into one of those after my next video or 2. I have a lot of THE FINALS footage to sift through and KF2 has a few more weapons that require my attention.
One thing to note with the plasma cutter is that since its not exactly tangible it can go through terrain, so if you want to kill some bugs safely (poser) you can join the gunner running Mole and shoot through any rock, stone, or shell in your way!
Of note, RJ250 doesn't actually decrease your effective damage! With the incendiary mod you still one-shot grunts and slashers at all haz levels, and you get LOADS of ammo and less self-damage. It's a straight-up upgrade with basically no downsides.
I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know what this Boosted Gear thing is that you're referring to. The only reason someone would do something like that is if they knew someone would call it out.
