Sir, you told steam trap required before shut-off (Isolation valves etc.), My query why we require ST before Isolation valve if that is not at low point,If your answer is yes then it should be indicated in the P&ID from starting(because you are providing it even though it is not low point) & can you share example where you observed before Isolation valve did you observed.

Sometimes they provide sometimes not. Condensate will remain collected at shutoff valve so to drain it steam trap may be provided but it is not mandatory.

Sir while you are explaining. mechanical steam trap you told steam will enter bucket. but my query is Bucket is filled with condensate. which is higher density than steam then how can steam enter into bucket? (As you told steam will collect at top of bucket).
