And there's the fact that her band's name is the same as her first name, similar to how Santana is a band while Carlos Santana is its guitarist. And of course, her real name is... Helen. So I'd say there's plenty of room for confusion.

There was a slight trend for cool jazzy pop music in the early 80’s in England,with bands like Matt Bianco etc.Her band mates were doing that style and that’s just the style of music they all wrote with her!
