      @John Davis I'm aware lol. I meant I love the United States and its people, which obviously includes Americans in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

      @@tfisahandle08 They're fully part of America; there's no halfway in, halfway out scenario to that. They're set up to function the same as a state. They pay federal and local taxes, they're American citizens by birth, their military is the U.S. armed forces and there are American and local flags in front of all official government buildings.

    Been there twice in the last 7 years. I rented a Hummer and a Camaro. Went Golfing at 2 courses. Went on the Submarine to see the undersea off the island. Sort of like Disney World in Florida. Wanted to get my passport stamped. But being a US Citizen, Told me < "NO". So never got my Saipan Stamps. Went to Tony Roma's for Steak. MacDonald's was tje same. Actually flew from Guangdong to Saipan. Took 3 hours or so. Thought about retiring there. Don't think I can afford it. Did not stay in Garapan. Stayed in Hotel 15 minutes away.

    Official language?

    • @Cobra7FAC
      @Cobra7FAC 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Official is English, however the locals do have their own language and have been influenced by Spain, Germany, Japan and the US. Tourists, laborers and immigrants have come from China, Japan and Korea so those languages are also present.
      This is all 2nd hand, I don't know personally.
