The best part is the music and rhythm still manage to get across the fact that he's a badass.
But this is the part of the Mando'ade culture. Fatherhood, strong, protective one. Big loyality and family connection without having the same blood.

This song is an accurate representation of the show. First episode is silent badass warrior that is intimidating, then the rest is a single parent raising a kid. And you know what? That's better.
Correction. The rest is a Near silent badass warrior that is intimidating RAISING a child by his lonesome.
Mandalorians are not just warriors, they're also parents. It's that trait that allowed the Mandalorians survive for thousands of years when the Sith, Republic, Empire, and Jedi have tried to genocide them. Multiple times.
When you think that rap’s going to be about him being a badass but it’s really about him being a single father (EDIT: Single parents are badass)

The Mandalorian would go to the Single Dads club, where he would meet characters like Simon Petrikov, the Golem from Somali and the Forest Spirit, the protagonists of the first two BioShock games, Batman, Dad Egbert, Dad Crocker, Geralt of Rivia, Shota Aizawa, Kiritsugu Emiya, etc. They would have their kids playing in a safe playground that is protected with enough defenses to scare evil people away.

I absolutely love the character arch of a single guy whos probably evil and not a very good person but he's a hell of a good dad and he loves his kid with all he's got. And he'll do anything to protect their kid, even if it means becoming the villain of the story. I love those characters.
Edit: they're not always evil, but they're never good. Always like and anti hero sort or neutral.

I'd say about Revan level...Might get to Emperor levels. Seriously he/she/it could end up extremely powerful but obviously given nobody has heard of him/her/they in the next thirty years by the events of the sequels he's/she's/it's still keeping a low profile. But when he/she/it rises up they'll either be the next Big Bad Sith Lord or the next Big Bad Jedi Grandmaster.
