      - What if he was drafted by the Lakers
      - What if he stayed on the Raptors
      - What if he didn’t get injured during his prime
      - What if Tim Duncan signed with the Magic

      D Nice no Tmac left Toronto cuz he wanted his own team nd he was in Carters shadow. Then he said the weather is too cold. Lol. He went to his home town but Ghill was injured they would of had a 3rd wheel if he was healthy. Houston injuries was a prob nd couldnt pass a playoff round. Management was never a problem in his case, Pippen is right they NEED Grant

      What if the Raptors drafted Steve Nash in '96 (instead of Camby)
      What if they never hired 2 of the dumbest & antagonizing coaches in the 90's: Darrell Walker, Butch Carter
      What if Grant Hill doesn't break his ankle
      What if Yao Ming doesn't struggle through an injury plagued career
      TMAC had a lot of what ifs -- but all he had to do was stay in Toronto; a major city with good fans, young team with a good draft & trade history (Stoudemire, Carter, Camby, TMac in first 4 drafts, with Doug Christie & Davis through lop-sided trades) and the other superstar is family...... too bad.

      Vinnie Huish Im sorry, but I seem to remember a certain team from San Antonio winning over LA in the playoffs...And winning a chip. T Mac was an amazing player. If Duncan would have been on the Magic, no he wouldn't have had Pop, but is that really what made Tim Duncan? Are we not gonna give the dude himself credit? T Mac was a scorer on par with Kobe at that time. They very easily could have taken one of them from the Lakers. T Mac was hella clutch too. 13 points in 33 seconds, against the prime Manu, Timmy, and Tony years to win a game. Dudes a hof player for fucks sake!

Your overall quality of life takes a big hit, and even if you do bounce back from it, you're still not the same old, but at best, a sightly lesser version of what you were.

    TMac has every right to be genuinely upset about this. What a blunder that changed the course of NBA history for the last 15 years. I don't care if Duncan had a posse of Bloods and Crips he wanted on that plane with him, if that's what he wants, that's what he gets. This wasn't some scrub making demands, it's a once in a generational player and quite possibly the greatest power forward of all time.

    In some alternate universe Tracy McGrady at Tim Duncan would have been a force to be reckoned with. I agree with Tracy when he said they could have made it to the ship without Grant Hill. The Eastern Conference was a very weak back then. There were awesome players like Allen Iverson but they were no Greek teams.

    • @DecemberSkyfire

      Pistons were a great team from that era in the East. They destroyed a team with Prime Shaq and Kobe on it, to go along with Karl Malone and Gary Payton. Basically a superteam.

      @Adrian Flores they could edge it out, remember that the early 2000's, Tracy was considered the most versatile SG, pair with TD, a guy that should've won atleast 2 DPOY's, was the only player i know besides hakeem where he held his own against Shaq.

    • @ponypower8
      @ponypower8 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Duncan, T-Mac AND GHILL, don't forget. IF those 3 were injury free, they could've won at least 1 ring.

    • @fakedan6568
      @fakedan6568 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Adrian Flores Bruh, TD has shown that he can take on Shaq defensively and dominate him offensively. Kobe is a better defender than Tracy, but Tracy edges him out in offence in my opinion. It would have been a great battle, but having arguably the greatest defensive player ever on your team would have given Tracy a definite 2 piece

      They would have had a chance to. I think most people will think this is crazy, but how crazy is it really? Duncan never played with another true superstar. I guess you could argue for Leonard in Duncan's final seasons, but Duncan was 40 years old then. The point is, Duncan won 5 rings, and should have been 6, with a cast of characters that I would venture to say even Jordan wouldn't bring to those 5 rings.

    • @Andrew7244
      @Andrew7244 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMO, Webber is not a hall of fame player. In your opinion, why do you think he is? There were consistently 3-4 power forwards better than him when he was actually in his prime. With the Kings, experienced former players-turned commentators, poked holes in C-Webb's game, stating that he didn't have a go-to move, nor enough offensive moves on the low block. He was a fantastic passer, and a good ball-handler for his size, but he did not possess the mental prowess/toughness to lead a team to the title...the evidence? He never did. The NBA HOF puts good players in and not just elite players, so he will probably get in...but undeservedly so. The standards should be raised, but looks like they are being lowered. Losing in the conference finals a time or two doesn't mean you should get in the HOF.

    • @Andrew7244
      @Andrew7244 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      T-Mac is debatable as well. But, he was an elite scorer at one time. He was compared favorably to Kobe, but beneath all the showmanship, Kobe was actually a lot more fundamentally sound, and mentally, McGrady can not be compared to Kobe. T-Mac led the league in scoring a few times, and I think he was all-NBA a few times. He maybe should have been a candidate, but should not have gotten in in his first year of eligibility. First year eligibility should be reserved for cats like Kobe, Duncan, Lebron, and even Steph. Theses guys are all time greats and multiple champions. Non champions should not get in in their first eligible year....period.
