Rice is a highly self pollinated crop and cleistogamy (completion of pollination and fertilization in unopened flower bud) takes place. If the spikelets are bloomed already then how are you emasculating the spikelets?. The pollination is already took place. its wrong method of emasculation of rice flower (Spikelete).

Why induce anthesis by blowing hot air? If there is anthesis, anthers will fertilize the eggs. So no point doing emasculation and pollination in that spikelet.
