What a beautiful and modern city. In my opinion, Brisbane is Australia's most beautiful city. As a person that loves skyline filled with modern skyscrapers, Brisbane is just very beautiful...the streets are clean, look great and the CBD is wonderful. Then you add the Skyline, that takes it to another level.
Hello my friend 🌹 I hope you are in excellent health. I was very happy with your message. I am fine, but life’s concerns kept me away from your wonderful channel for a while. My greetings to you ❤️🌹@@GoldCoastLifeStyle
Yeah, that’s an amazing deal for daily maximum, in Brisbane I’ve paid $65 for *one hour* and $110 as a full day rate! Most expensive parking in the country. And the $110 was 5 years ago.
Little bit confused by the comment, as most cities have a mix of very early era through to modern Aesthetics, but think I might know what you're getting at, so I'll try and answer.. Brisbane underwent a lot growth and a bit of an identity change after Expo 88 , but also, our stupid state Gov't in the 70s through 80s demolished a lot of very old significant buildings , so as a result of both these I guess it took on a bit of a bland appearance aesthetically.. typical of the era , and perhaps has a higher concentration of buildings from that era, which would make it struggle to shake that off that look I guess. It then had a bit of a lul development wise, but has recently (10+ yrs or so) started again a period of rapid development, it might not be obvious in this video due to the areas it covers maybe, but the new Queens wharf precinct for example, and South brisbane on the other side of the river are very modern areas. To put it another way, I think rather than being stuck in an era, it just lacks the contrast of very old architecture with modern. OTOH if you're talking more streetscape type of thing , I'd argue it's more stuck in the mid 00's, as a lot of these aspects underwent development in that period.. Facade and pathway changes, the Mall was overhauled (pavement, seating etc) . The areas surrounding the CBD are more vibrant and due to the higher concentration of older architecture and buildings that have been saved have far more character. particularly areas like Fortitude valley- New farm and surrounds
@@jimmyp1433 Very confusing comment indeed. I think some people just like being a troll and says things that makes no sense at all. Brisbane's CBD is beautiful and pretty modern. From Brisbane's skyline, it's a very modern city. I would say most big cities around the world have older looking CBD than Brisbane. So, I don't understand what this person is talking about as if big cities around the world's CBDs have more newer buildings built after 1990's. There are only about 4 or so big cities in the world that have newer CBDs or more newer buildings than Brisbane percentage wise when compared to their old buildings....these cities are Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, and maybe Singapore.

The most telling fact in the first frame... $39 parking! And that I meant to be some sort of inducement?
What I know is that it is quite expensive to park around the CBD. Thank you. You have a wonderful day 🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙂

Why does the Brisbane CBD look like it's somehow stuck in the early 1990s aesthetically?
Thank you so much my friend. I really do not know. Hopefully someone else will answer the question. You have a wonderful day 🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙂
