This was such a cool animation concept! Video Prompt from @HalimAlrasihi (X): "Revealing an image from complete blank paper transitioning into the style of ultra-fluid seamless smooth ink brushstrokes that gradually and effortlessly flow, merging like water on rice paper. Strokes appear soft and blend naturally, deepening in boldness with perfect consistency. The image forms organically, with each element revealing itself in a continuous, graceful transition."
@blutey Yes! Although the idea is a variation of a prompt effect that was already being done in Runway to animate illustrations in that manner, so credit to them as well. He didn't originate the original concept, and the animation technique of course existed long before A.I. even was created, so credit to THEM as well. 😄 His version just uses an ink effect. But it's still genius what he achieved.
This is what I am looking for...something between just pics and full on animations. Thank you for sharing Tao!! As always, you're above and beyond others!!
BRO!!! Your short film was DOPE as 🔥!!! You and Halim are Geniuses, and you Bros really inspired me with some cool ideas for creative transitions, etc. in for some short films. Many Thanks to you and Halim. I'm going to experiment and make a ton of similar type illustrations with my own touches, since I'm on Runway's Monthly Unlimited Plan. Much luv and respects, my Good Bro.
Thanks, this was a really cool concept from Halim! It's definitely worth experimenting with. The unlimited monthly plan is a great thing to have, it makes testing out different prompts so much easier 👍
What I love about AI community is that almost Everyone is willing to share their creativity without any hesitation. Thanks for this awesome tutorial . Would you mind sharing the transition effects you have selected and which tool please ?😊
@@taoprompts Ah! Somewhere I knew it’s capcut! Almost everyone on earth is using capcut to compile their clips. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work in India !!!
This came just in time, I want to use this for a project of mine thank you tao. Im curious do you know any ai animation tooks that can make action sequences in anime and 3d anime?
MiniMax can, and it's 100% free (for now, hehe), if you haven't played around with it yet. It is just text to video right now, but is super advanced in accurately following prompts. Best Wishes
Great to hear that! I hope you try this out. 2D Anime action sequences are more difficult. 3D animation in the style of a game cinematic or pixar style works decently in Kling, Luma, sometimes runway. However if you want a lot of "action" (movement) it will be hard to animate that in an Anime style, I have yet to see anything that looks really compelling to me.
@@taopromptsI will for sure, I'm going to try it on kling and runway. As for the action animation the two tools I think may work are flipaclip and tooncrafter, What i think I may try is creating the scene frame by frame using midjourney and then putting it into those tools and seeing what happens. If you ever heard of those and wanted to try them I think you should.
Hi! It was incredible. I am fascinated by its content. Thank you very much for sharing all your knowledge. I have a question. Can we achieve this same effect and make the same video with KLING?
Hey, it's possible to do this in Kling. You just need to upload both a start frame and end frame. So for the start frame upload a blank image and for the end frame upload the illustration. The animation won't be exactly the same as Runway but you can still get nice looking results
This tutorial is really cool👍 I have use Halim other LoRA stuff and this post but with aztech style is really cool. Also, can you tell me how you did the image flapping transition 3:56 and other snap? Thanks
Curious Tao Ai brother, what do you recommend as the best image/character recreator right now (I have a client who can swing multiple pro shoots but needs images and vids to look like her speaking on stage and globe trotting but look very realistic)? SO hard to keep up with all the latest Ai tools and updates!
Do you mean a consistent character from reference images? The absolute best way will be to finetune an existing model, for example using LoRA combined with Flux or another image generator, since it allows for real model customization to that person.
@@taoprompts Yes I get very interesting results on Kling and Luma. I can't make this work on Runway though. It keeps generating people who walk backwards instead of starting from a blank page.
My guy!!! Does this "last" frame trick work in Kling? Or does Kling not allow you to use a last frame without a 1st frame? Just wondering.... Awesome Videos as always brother!
Thanks man! Like someone else commented, for this specific animation you can use a blank image for the first frame in Kling. Although idk if the results will be as good as in Runway
@@taoprompts The results will be different. In some cases, they are very different. I had some pencil sketches along the ink in my image and Kling traced them in the animation. Very cool effect. I think your best bet is to use a mix of Runway, Kling, and Luma if you want to make a short movie. You'll have different animation styles.
Hi Tao, I tried the same method with Luma Labs as you said but it did not work. Is there anything different from Runway when I use it in Luma Labs? I added the end frame and same prompt but no animation is coming up on videos, Please help!!
It's probably because of the reference image. Do you have other images of the same style? It's worth trying them to see if those work. Here is the original twitter post with Ink Illustrations: x.com/HalimAlrasihi/status/1835662381344588184

Oh this is so inspiring! This technique is really amazing! A lot of potential for creativity, not just for generating lame surreal videos.
For sure, this a really unique style! It definitely stands out from the typical ai animation
Dam that's insane, just tried it on another abstract art piece and it worked perfectly, with only a few minor tweaks to suit the art style.
That's awesome man, I think this style of animation can work really well for illustrations and more artistic pictures

The unlimited plan works best because you have unlimited generations. For the cheaper plans you run out of credits very fast

I set the image to video generator to use the image as the last frame. This works well in Luma also
