I’ve been watching Vids about these OTTO aircraft for a couple of years now, but I haven’t seen anything to show that these are now something worthwhile in the aviation marketplace. I would like to see that soon though, because the concept is very exciting.
Business plan: 1. Collect two minutes of factual detail, 2. Stretch it into nine minutes by restating everything slightly differently 3-5 times, 3. Use filters to make stock footage look a tiny bit different, including the super-jokey scratchy film grain filter. 4. Call it @Technology vision; 5. ??? 6. Profit!
Honestly I'm not surprised that the 500L was cancelled, even though it was flying. It never achieved even close to the jetlike performance it advertised, and it's super laminar flow technology was so finicky and prone to disruption that any improvement in the percentage of performance over traditional aircraft would have been in the single digits. This aircraft, if it is ever built, will likely only see similar single-digit performance improvements over existing aircraft, leading to no interest from investors or buyers which would be needed to get it beyond the prototype stage (Exactly like what happened to the 500L). Given they've never even published the performance achieved by the aircraft from testing, only that it "achieved all the goals that it set out to achieve" and that external analysis state that the aircraft reaching even half it's performance goals would be very generous for the design, this new jet design and scrubbing of the 500L from the website seems like an attempt to bury a failed prototype that didn't come close to what was expected of it.
The entire video is about future advances in aviation, but the video itself is intentionally made to look aged, with imitation scratches and lint. Why?
Not supersonic. Not available in 2025. I want to see how those long windows integrate into a pressurized fuselage structure. This is pure fantasy. Never going to be built like this video depicts.
No carbon print - who cares about such stupidity? Customers seek comfortable and reliable transfer from A to B with competitive price - it's that simple.

I will be waiting for the 800 model!
Early adopter here. I’m definitely interested in getting one for my family. I would even be down to wait 24 or 36 months.

Don't forget the AI narration. No need to pay pesky people.
Oh so with high efficiency hybrid plane engines flights go around the world in one flight very cool and I definitely want to go on a flight like this.

Howdy?- how useful editing, ))
Celera 500L and 800 is best for the world tour with less expense!
Can't wait for verified actual fight data from third party sources. Seems to be on the right track however.
Yes. And this thing has smelled funny from the very beginning.
it spent since 2019 on that right track and all of the claimed performance of the 500 model is yet to be confirmed...
Fantastic. Why not. The turbo diesel gets 25 mpg. More than most cars just cruising on the highway.
You have to kiss a lot of toads to find your Prince. Will this be the one?
435 knots is NOT supersonic as stated by narrator. Vaporware for sure!

Fuselage with an A not an I English language.
Why kill the Celera 500? It's so fuel efficient & would sell like hot-cakes.
I think it's because of the engine they chose.

Sorry no windows just panoramic placed camera's.
Not particularly an impossible feat. If glass can stop bullets, I'm sure it can hold back a few PSI.
@@josue_kay sure but at what cost.
Repeating the same generalized statement over and over and over soon gets boring, which is what this video has done.
