Thank you very much, Ive managed to make a secure base with this. Dug all the way to bedrock and made a loot base and added 2 ghast for protection surrounded by obsidian :D
The best method for this type of thing IMO is to build this up on the nether roof, about a hundred blocks above it that way a ghast is guaranteed to spawn almost immediately. Careful though you might unleash a horde of ghasts lol
@@MonkeyBarGaming very nice, btw is there a special way to bringing a ghast to the overworld on a 1.16.4 server? i tried this for 3 hours and had the ghast inside the portal so many times, but it never went through, any ideas as to why this is or how i could fix it?
When you do it you need to make sure you hook it with the fishing rod and lure it into the portal! If that doesnt work you may be experiencing some lag.

Thx, i say that because the Nether isn't a nice place so I am bringing them back to a good place which is the overworld 👍
i think ghasts are human trapped inside
and we free them on their home(overworld) thats how we savin them
According to the Minecraft Bestiary, Ghasts came from the Overworld. The Nether isn't actually their home.

Sometimes it won't go through, if you keep trying it will eventually go through! Hope this helped 👍

Nah, it can be other bioms but soul's sand valley has higer ghast spawn rates.

Time can vary, sometimes it can take a while, if you wait a long time but the you don't see anything. The ghast just flies in as your not looking.

That is unlucky, did you go afk near the ghast area or somewhere else? You need to be where the ghasts are.

I doesn't have to be a soul sand valley theres just a higher spawn rate of ghasts in that biom of the game.
