@@shevahauser1780first it's spelt "fufu". Fufu is a dish here in Ghana that it's served with a wide range of soup. It's usually pounded plantain and cassava but some use yam, or cocoyam as substitute.

It is not what these folk put on television and show us it is not authentic. Africans are intelligent just like many of us who are also black, and we can't allow others to cast folk in a bad light when they are just as smart and intellectual or better on many levels than other cultures. I am proud of these beautiful women and their husbands.

I've been watching this show since being in Africa and I must say that this show is uniting the people of Africa
Many have asked why this show - coming to Africa - started with South Africa & Ghana?
My guess is that South Africa was probably the perfect place to move from America with the show's team and infrastructure and just setup easily without much re-working or worrying about requirement for similar infrastructure, power and technical capacity. Ghana, I guess, because Steve came to Ghana recently as part of the Year Of Return 2019 celebrations and felt it would make sense marketing-wise to tap into the buzz and goodwill that now existed for Ghana among Black Americans for an African campaign perhaps.
Perfect two countries to launch your African campaign technically (SA) and marketability (GH) to the world.
